Time: beginning of MOA when Percy and Jason meet

POV: Jason

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

"Hey..." I yelled as I walked off of the Argo II. Silence.

I looked at my home nervously. My friends. I mean, I'm missing for eight months and I don't get so much as a "Welcome home, we missed you so much!". I looked down at my feet awkwardly as silence still hung in the air.

"Eight months and all he says is 'hey'?!" A voice I know all too well calls out. Octavian. "He said he was loyal, your leader, your praetor!" He calls again. Adding extra emphasis on 'praetor', "but where has he been these past eight months?" I start to see people agree with him. oh great. You had one job, Jason, build trust with the Romans.

"QUIET, OCTAVIAN!" I hear a loud voice bellow. The crowd silences, not from fear, but respect and admiration. Although I can't yet see the owner of the voice, I can sense his aura. Strong, mighty, powerful. A god, I would guess. The crowd parts as the god makes his way towards... Me?

When he finally arrives at the front of the crowd he seems familiar, I recognise him... He had raven black windswept hair that fell perfectly into place and sea green eyes.

The guy held out his hand "Percy Jackson, and I would bet a hundred drachmas you're the famous Jason!" The 'god' was Percy Jackson. I was dumbstruck. Then it hit me like a brick, he was wearing the Praetor cloak, and I was furious.

After everyone had been introduced we all (Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel and myself) went to sit at the mess hall, to catch up and get to know each other better. Percy sat between Thalia and Annabeth, his arms slung around the shoulders of the two girls.

"So Percy..." Hazel began "how do you know Nico?"

Percy's expression turned more serious, as did Annabeths and Thalias. He removed his arms fro Annabeths and Thalias shoulders. At last! I thought, he shouldn't touch my sister, she's a hunter of Artemis! He sighed. "Well when me, Annabeth and Thalia were 14, Grover called us to say he had found two demigods, siblings, parent undetermined. He said he needed our help. So we went when we got there we found Nico and..." Percy looked down at the table, wiping a single tear from his eye "...Bianca" Hazel looked at Percy in recognition, who looked sad- along with Thalia. "We were taking them back to camp but a manticore kidnapped Annabeth and Artemis and the hunters came. So Bianca becomes a hunter, but then Artemis was also kidnapped

"So we go back to camp and the old oracle issued this prophecy that 5 go on this quest and one will die in the land without rain to save Artemis. I wanted to go- like, a lot because I knew that I had to find Annabeth. Only Zoë Nightshade, who was the lieutenant before Thalia wouldn't let me cause' I'm a dude. So Thalia, Zoë, Bianca and Grover went. The 5th was going to be another hunter but then she couldn't so, it was just them.

"Nico asked me follow them, to make sure Bianca was okay. I agreed and took Annabeths invisibility cap. Soon enough they discovered me so I joined them. Then we got to the dump yard of the gods..."

Percy looked like he wasn't able to go on.

"Do you want me to?" Annabeth asked kindly.

Percy shook his head before continuing on his story "Nico used to play this dumb game 'mythomagic' and when we were in the dump yard Bianca saw one of the figurines that Nico didn't have, so she picked it up... Which activated this giant robot who tried to kill us. I was about to go inside it to de-activate it, before I could Bianca gave me the figurine, she told me to give it to Nico and she went inside the robot. She died" Percy started to cry, like a lot.

"When we finished the quest I told Nico about Bianca and he hated me ever since..." Percy said trying to hold back more tears.

"Nico doesn't hate you, he's practically your brother! Think about how much he helped you with the Styx!" Annabeth said, cheering him up.

"So... Bro," Leo interjected, changing the subjects "tell us about your other quests?"

Once Percy had everyone had finished telling everyone about his quests everyone, bar Annabeth and Thalia looked at him in awe. Percy acted like he wasn't comfortable with the attention but it was clear to anyone with half a brain he loved it.

"Piper, for a daughter of Aphrodite you look pretty chilled, and a dagger? You gotta have skill to use one of them affectively! I'd bet you're pretty fierce in battle" Percy said to Piper. In return Piper giggled.

Giggled.

Piper. Giggled.

Piper McLean giggled.

She looked at him like he was the only other guy in the room- it made me sick. This guy stole my praetor ship and then my girlfriend! What a jerk!

"That's it!" Percy yelled quietly "Silena! You remind me of Silena! And you," he said pointing at Leo "remind me of Beckendorf! Infact I'd say you two," he offhandedly commented, gesturing towards Piper and Leo "would make a cute couple." He did not just go there!

Wait?

Was I jealous of Percy Jackson?
