Time: After the HOO series

Annabeth had always found Halloween to be a difficult time, as had most of her siblings in the Athena cabin. Now you may be asking "why?" or speculating theories of tragedy in their past. The reason most Athena children decided to stay in the Athena cabin on Halloween (rather than partake in the CHB Halloween festivities) was the death of James and Lily Potter. Yes, the devastating, albeit fictional, events of October 31st 1981 had scarred Annabeth and her siblings for life.
Annabeth sat in her cabin, her Ravenclaw scarf wrapped around neck, crying. Early into the evening Annabeth heard a soft tap on her door. She immediately recognised it as Percy's.
"I'm not in the mood for Halloween Percy!" Her voice was shaking.
"Annabeth... Are you okay?"
Instead of replying to her concerned boyfriend, she suddenly released a series of violent sobs. Percy forced his way into the cabin.
"Annabeth, what's wrong!?" He demanded.
"James and Lily!" She forced out between sobs.
"James and..." Percy begun, his worry replaced with confusion, "what?"
In an answer, Annabeth thrust her copy of 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone' at him. Percy looked at the book for a moment, clearly thinking. Suddenly he let out a sigh of exasperation and rolled his eyes (a habit he had probably picked up from Annabeth).
"Annabeth, are you seriously this upset about a book?"
"How could you even ask that! It's James and Lily Potter!" She shouted him in frustration.
"Sorry, sorry! Look why don't you come and join the fun, take your mind of your... Um... Loss?"
"I don't even have a costume..." She sniffled.
"Of course you do! That Harry Potter scarf is like a costume, right?" He said, flashing a charming smile.
She laughed, standing up in defeat
"Come on, Hermione!" He laughed, slinging his arm round Annabeths shoulders as they left the cabin.
"Hermione was in Gryffindor, idiot."
