The best birthday ever

Additional info: I don't know how much older Annabeth is than Bobby or Matthew, so I'm going to guess its about 5 years.

Let me just say, it really sucks when your sister can't come to your 13th birthday party. And, if you ask me, 13 is quite a big deal.

My sister, Annabeth, was 18- 5 years older than me and my twin, Matthew. We never really saw her though, because she was "different". She wasn't "like us". And even though I couldn't tell you anything about her, it doesn't mean that I don't miss her. I know my dad misses her too, but he'd never admit it, because of my mom. My mom never liked Annabeth, though because I don't know Annabeth, I have no idea why. I think it must have been about four years ago now, Annabeth came to stay with us for a few months, but she left after a massive argument with my mom and dad. I haven't seen her since.

The time of the party had arrived, and although it was great, there was a small part of me that missed the sister that I never really knew. About 30 minutes into my party, there was a loud knock on the door. My dad got up, looking confused to answer it. He came back moments later looking as though he had seen a ghost. He came back with Annabeth. The first thing that I noticed about her was she was tall. Like really tall. The second thing I noticed was her suitcase. The third thing I noticed was the room had turned silent, and all eyes were on her. I found this rather strange, because no one at the party (apart from my family, of course) knew who she was.

I spent the evening catching up with my, awesome, big sister. It was pretty much the best birthday ever.
