Ch10: Saving (Y/n)

Gray's pov

We all hid in a bush that was close to the cave. I peaked over the leaves of the bush and didn't see any movement in the cave. "They must be inside" I whispered. "We need to think of a plan" Freed pointed out. "Gray.tell us what the layering of the cave looks like" Wendy asked.

"Alright. The cave goes on for a long while. It eventually leads to a sharp turn which is where the main area that those teens are in. It's a large area and (Y/n) is tied up near the back" I explained. "I have a plan" Tyler spoke up as we all looked at him.

"So all of us who can fight, that would be Sting Rogue, Carla, Wendy, Freed, Gray and myself, we'll fight against these teens. While we're doing that and working together to beat them, Lector, Frosch, Pepper, Phantom and Kage will sneak over to (Y/n) and get her out. If the teens try to get to the Exceeds, Freed you will put up an enchantment to block them off and Autumn you can try to distract them with your cuteness..... " Tyler explained before cutting himself off." Sorry. I forgot that Autumn isn't here"he sighed, shaking his head.

Freed patted his shoulder in sympathy before we all got up, heading into the cave. I took lead down the dark of the cave until we reached the area where the teens were.

They seemed to be having a meal as they were munching away on food which I presumed was stolen. I walked into the cave first, catching the attention of all the teens. "Oh great, it's the old timer again" one of them hissed, standing up. "Do you need us to teach you another lesson" another asked with a smirk.

"Actually no. I'll be the one teaching you a lesson because I brought friends with me" I replied as the others stood in battle positions in front of the teens. "You think your hot stuff just because you've got more friends to fight. That doesn't mean squat" the one that had punched me before yelled.

One of them turning their arm into the rock golem arm. "Dark ecriture: Destruction" Freed yelled, sending all the teens flying back and a few injuries on their bodies.

One got up and leapt at me. "Ice demon's rage" I yelled, a blast of ice magic a sting from my mouth, injuring the boys more. Wendy took a deep breath, yelling "Sky dragon roar" sending a blast of air at the teens. Carla transformed into her human form and kicked a couple in the face.

Tyler used a wolf slayer's jowl on them and Sting and Rogue did a unison raid which completely beat the teenage boys. We each grabbed one of the boys excluding Carla and Wendy and took them outside to see the Exceeds had managed to get (Y/n) in the commotion.

"We did it. We saved her" Wendy cheered happily, holding Carla in her arms. We nodded before heading back in silence, going a different way than the tree Bridge incase we lost someone else in the process.

(Y/n)'s pov

I woke up to the feeling of pain. I blinked my eyes open and sat up, pain shooting through my stomach. "Your awake" someone yelled and I was tackled by 4 beings.

I looked down to see Pepper who had a bandage over one eye, Kage, Phantom and Tyler embracing me in a hug. Tyler looked like he'd been crying. "Tyler. What's wrong" I asked, looking at my brother.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't able to help Autumn in time and she lost her life" Tyler told me, tears falling as the Exceeds had tears building up. "What happened?" I asked in shock, looking at my brother.

"We had to go across a branch to get to the cave you were in and because I'm afraid of heights I didn't want to go so Autumn helped me across but she stepped on a lose branch and fell and when I managed to grab her hand, she slipped and fell, dying in the currents of the ravine" Tyler explained through tears.

I hugged Tyler, tears building up in my own eyes. Autumn could be annoying at times but she's my sister and family stick together.

I wiped my eyes and looked at Pepper. "What happened to you Pepper?" I asked. "The teenage boys who kidnapped you tore out my eye when Gray and I tried to rescue you the first time" Pepper explained as my eyes widened.

"You poor baby" I spoke softly, hugging onto my cat turned exceed. "I'm sorry again" Tyler apologised. "It's fine" I told him, forcing a smile.
