Ch15: The Date

(Y/n)'s pov

I walked down the stairs of my house to see Autumn fiddling with a sheet of paper. "What are you doing?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "This came for you" Autumn replied, snickering to herself.

I just brushed it aside since Autumn can be weird at times. I looked at the paper and read over it.

Dear (Y/n)

If it would be alright, could we go on a date at 7pm at the italian place in Magnolia.

From your secret admirer

"I didn't know I had a secret admirer" I commented, a little confused by the note. Autumn was still snickering as I raised an eyebrow. "What's so funny?" I asked, looking at her in complete confusion.

"It's nothing. Don't worry about it" she snickered. Tyler walked down the stairs, his hair just as spiky as Natsu's as he rubbed his eyes, mustering a massive yawn. "Morning sleepy head" Autumn greeted him, not even turning around.

"So can you guys help me?" I asked. "Help you with what" Tyler asked, walking up to the cupboard and pouring himself some cereal. "(Y/n) has a date" Autumn told him, winking her eye.

"Oh right. That date" Tyler replied, seeming to know what was going on. "Do the two of you know something?" I asked. "Of course not" Tyler lied. How do I know this. His voice goes higher when he lies. "Your lying. Your voice went higher" I told him.

"No it didn't" Tyler squeaked. I rolled my eyes as Autumn face-palm Ed. "You are a terrible liar" Autumn sighed. "Fine. Don't tell me but are you going to help me or not?" I explained. "We'll help but if this guy does any moves that you disapprove of or cheats on you or uses you. I will not hesitate to snap his neck" Autumn explained.

"Why did you put so much emphasis on guy and his?" I asked. "No reason. Let's just get you ready" Autumn replied.

I walked up to the restraint, fiddling with my purse. I was wearing an ankle length (f/c) dress and my hair had been done up with some make-up. I waited for a couple minutes since it wasn't 7pm yet.

I was standing, looking around when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and I was in shock at who I saw. "Gray. You sent the note" I spoke in shock.

He was wearing a black suit and was holding a rose in his hand. "Um yeah. Your siblings helped but I think I could have done with out the threat to snap my neck" he laughed nervously. "Oh that's why Autumn was putting so much emphasis on Guy and his" I laughed, now figuring it out.

"Shall we go in?" he asked. "Gladly" I replied. We walked in and the lady there led us to a table. She handed us a menu as I looked at it. "Would you care for a drink?" the waiter asked, holding a notepad.

"I'll take a beer" Gray spoke up. "I'll take a (F/D)" I added. He noted them down and walked off, leaving Gray and I alone. "I didn't k ow you had feelings for me" I smiled, fiddling with a strand of hair. "Yeah. I didn't say before cause I was embarrassed" Gray laughed nervously.

"Well I feel the same way" I replied, hiding my red cheeks with the menu. "Here are your drinks" the waiter spoke, placing them on the table. "Thank you" I thanked. "Are you ready to order?" he asked.

"Yeah. I'll take this pasta" Gray spoke, pointing at the menu. "What about the young lady?" he asked. "I'll take (F/I/F) (favourite Italian food)" I told him. He wrote this down and walked away.

Gray and I talked for a bit, taking the occasional sip from our drinks. Eventually our food arrived as we continued to talk while eating. We ordered a dessert which we shared together before heading out.

"I'll walk you home" Gray told me. "Oh. OK" I smiled. We arrived back at the house and I heard the sound of a thump from inside. "I'm sorry, I really need to get inside. For all I know, they could be throwing a cookie jar about because it won't open" I sighed.

Gray nodded as I turned around but I felt him grab my shoulder. I was confused as he spun me around but before I could say anything, I was cut off with Gray kissing me. My eyes widened before I melted into the kiss.

He led his tongue over my bottom lip, asking for entrance. This is the point where I pulled away. "What's wrong?" he asked. "Sorry. It's just that after my last experience with dating, I don't want to leave myself vulnerable. A simple kiss is as far as I will go for now. Goodnight Gray" I explained to him, walking into the house.

I locked the door and headed into the living room to see Autumn and Tyler having a pillow fight with the Exceeds. Food was scattered all over the floor and a fortress of blankets and pillows had been made with chairs and the couches.

"What are the two of you doing?" I asked. "Captain, it seems that we have another intruder. Over" Tyler spoke through a walkie talkie as he was a bit away from Autumn. "Rodger. Locating new target. Over" Autumn replied.

"I swear, the two of you are like a couple of kids trapped in adult bodies" I sighed. "What about you three. What's your excuse?" I asked the 3 Exceeds.

"The third party is approaching. Over" Phantom explained. "Rodger that. Fire the Canon" Kage replied through his own walkie talkie. Before I could say anything else, I had two pillows flying towards me as I ducked.

"I'm going to my room. I'm not dealing with this" I sighed, walking through the living room and up the stairs. I could hear more noises from downstairs but just left it be and walked into my bedroom.

I changed into my pyjamas and got off the make up. I lay down in bed, giving a huge sigh. I closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep into my thoughts.
