ELLWOOD HAS PETSSSSS
Okay so the story behind Ivory (the dragon) is that I've wanted to give Ellwood a dragon for a while. Bre suggested giving him a dragon companion that's been there since birth and is almost like a soulmate to him because it's like his guardian. So yeah Ivory was born around the same time as him and will die if/when he dies.
As for Bailey, she's a rescue dog. Ellwood has always wanted a dog. So he goes to adopt one. He's at the shelter and almost all of the dogs are jumping up on the cages, wanting to sniff him, greet him. A certain one catches his eye. She's pretty big, and clearly a mixed breed. She's not barking like most of the others, but her tail is wagging so hard, and her eyes are bright, and it's so clear that she's trying to contain herself. Ellwood chooses her.

She's around 2 years old when Ellwood adopts her. She's very playful and Ellwood has to work pretty hard to get her trained, but he eventually manages to tame her to the point where she's not making messes all the time.
