Y/N's POV (as always)
Stuart and I kept our relationship simple for the next six months. No strings attached. No talking, no dates. Just me at his house for a day, every Sunday. One particular Sunday caused problems.
"When do you want to really be together?" He asks me.
"I like what we have now, don't you?" I reply.
"Of course, but I want more. I want to wake up next to you, not have you gone in the morning. I want to take you on dates, to have jokes only you and I know. I want you, not your body."
My cheeks flare up. "I don't think I'm stable enough, Stu."
"We could be there for each other." He props his head up on his hands.
"Stu.." I twirl his hair in my fingers.
"Do you want me? Or do you just want my body?" He asks, furrowing his brows.
"Don't do this."
"What is it, huh? Just tell me Y/NN (your nickname)." His voice is pained.
"Please I-"
"I knew it. I think its time you leave." He shakes his head.
"Stu--"
"Leave."
I grab my belongings and walk out. Why didn't I just say I wanted him? Gosh, Y/N, you suck. As I walk out, I keep my head high and try not to cry. This is so embarrassing.
A month passes. Neither of us talk. I think back to our Sundays, to the laughter and the joy.
"Y/NN, did I ever tell you about the one time Murdoc got his willy stuck in a fence?" Stu asked me.
"Really?" I laugh, "How does someone do that?"
"He wanted the neighbour to see how 'big his manhood was'" He laughed.
I lean over and kiss him. "I like this."
"Me too."
