There was no mistaking it; as much as my quivering fingers ached to prove my own conclusion wrong, if I went to my camera roll, I knew I would find the exact same photo staring back at me; taunting me like the sickness rising in my throat and dragging me in deep to turbulent waters, white-edged and rapid, slicing at my body and tearing me apart.
