Night after night, I felt more excitement come over me. Today was the day I'm going to join Awsten and his band on tour for the next month. Awsten's already paid my landlord for next month's rent and I've called into work two weeks ago saying I'll be gone for a month.

Two days ago we flew to England, getting ready for the first show. Sorry, I forgot to mention that their tour was taking place in England. I was so surprised that I almost passed out at the airport. Awsten drove Geoff, Otto, and I to the airport, and I wasn't expecting much, maybe a flight to the other side of the country or something.

Before we got to the airport, Awsten mentioned that he bought my ticket. Of course, I had to argue with him about it. He already paid my rent for the next month, and now he's paying for a really expensive plane ticket.

"Flight 72B to Birmingham is boarding now. All passengers with a boarding pass onto this plane may start boarding now."

At first, I wasn't bothered by the announcement. I was just waiting for one to talk about New York or Pennsylvania. The three boys got up with their heavy luggage, tickets in hand.

They walked up to the worker, handing the lady their passes, one by one. After they all did it, I gave it to her.

"Flight 72B. Have a nice flight!" She said with fake enthusiasm. My face turned white and I wanted to turn back. I would love to stay with them on tour but going to an entirely different continent is pushing it.

"Awsten, Awsten, Awsten," I repeated, pulling on the back of his sweater. He hummed back in response, letting me know that he was listening. "Our flight isn't the one to Birmingham, is it?"

Turning his head to face me, he smiled, not answering back. It is. Our flights the one to Birmingham, England.

We boarded the plane, looking for our seats. Three close to the window and one in the middle. Since we're all friends, we didn't care what our ticket said, we just all tried getting to the window seat first. Awsten got the seat right by the window, I got the middle, and Geoff got the one beside me. Sadly, Otto had to sit by the other aisle.

"Do you wanna swap?" Awsten asked, knowing how much I love window seats, or how much everyone loves window seats.

I shook my head, wanting to sleep so bad. I'm taking a guess and gonna say this trip is going to take more than 10 hours, meaning I should probably sleep so it doesn't feel so long.

Out of nowhere, Awsten pulled out a laptop from his side bag and opened a file he had. The select screen for Captain America: The First Avenger.

"Gimmie," I begged, reaching for his earphone. Without hesitation, he gave one to me.

I enjoyed the movie, feeling a nap coming on soon. It did come, because when I blinked, suddenly everything looked different. The sun was no longer beaming through the windows and bathing me in heat. Now the sky is dark and the lights on the plane are off.

Beside me, Awsten mumbled, "Welcome back." His laptop was still on his lap, this time playing some film I've never seen before. I checked the time in the corner of the screen. It was about ten hours after we got on the flight. Any moment they should be announcing the landing.

Almost like I predicted, the intercom began with a small tune. "In a few minutes, we will be landing. Please do not stand up until the plane has come to a complete stop and the attendants escort you out. Thank you for riding and have a nice day."

I shook Geoff awake and told him to try and wake Otto. All of the boys were awake, Geoff and Otto being super grumpy because I had to ruin their sleep.

Row after row, people left the plane. Awsten, Geoff, Otto, and I rose from our seats, all of us having trouble walking since we've been sitting for almost half a day.
