I Hate You, pt. 2

Prompt: from WolfSHADOW26, SEQUEL TO I HATE YOU, Malcom goes looking for the legemds and with the waverider technology they save laurel. Laurel has to stay with the Legends so she doesn't change the timeline so Thea becomes a legend to.

"Who is this?" Sara hisses as she answers the call.

"Hello, Ms. Lance. I have something you want, you have something I need." Malcolm says.

"Malcolm Merlyn, the devil himself. And why should I listen to anything you have to say?" Sara growls.

"Because, I want to save Laurel. And I can do it." Malcolm says.

"If this a trick Malcolm, I'll make you regret it." Sara says as she appears behind Malcolm before knocking him out.

"Where am I?" Malcolm mumbles as he begins to stir.

"In a holding cell in my time ship, the Waverider. Now, my question is, why do you want to save my sister?" Sara says as she stands in front of him.

"Believe me it's not for you or Laurel, but for Thea. I've taken every good thing from her life away from her, including your sister. I owe this to Thea." Malcolm confesses.

"You got my sister killed?" Sara exclaims.

"I played a hand, yes. I gave Darhk the idol that returned his powers. I'm not looking for forgiveness or redemption. I do this for Thea and I leave everyone's life." Malcolm sighs 

"So how do you propose we save Laurel?" Sara ask.

"Easy. We go to the exact moment I go to retrieve the idol, and instead of handing it over to Darhk, I destroy it for good." Malcolm states.

"I'm telling you now, you cross me Merlyn, I will make you relive the deaths of your wife and son again and again. And I'll slit your throat." Sara promises as she releases Malcolm from the cell.

"Hello, handsome." Malcolm grins as he grabs his own self from the past, who is gripping the idol  tightly.

"What the?" Past Malcolm says as he looks at his own self.

"Really, handsome?" Sara scoffs.

"No time for questions, but I'm telling you, you look fabulous." Malcolm grins before knocking his past self out and taking the idol in his hands.

"Let's get outta here." Sara says as she takes the idol from Malcolm and sneak their way back out of the Arrow cave and back to the Waverider.

"Amaya, go full on rhino on this idol. Smash into splinters. Mick, burn those splinters into ashes. Ray shrink down whatever ashes you find, get them together and scatter them into an ocean. I want there to be no physical evidence of this damn thing every existing. Gideon, how's those outcomes looking?" Sara says, going full on commander mode.

"Captain Lance, Ms. Lance still dies, even without the totem." Gideon answers.

"We do the next best thing then. Merlyn, with me." Sara sighs.

"Sara, what the hell am I doing aboard the Waverider?" Thea ask as Sara drags her on to the ship.

"Because if I told you, you would never believe me. Come on, Thea." Sara grins as she keeps dragging Thea around the ship.

"Damnit, Sara. Why am I here?" Thea snaps, ripping away from Sara.

"You're here for me, Speedy." A soft and recognizable voice sounds.

"Laurel? Sara, please tell me this is real. Or else I might just die." Thea says in shock.

"This is real, this is our Laurel." Sara smiles, tearing up.

"But, how?" Thea wonders.

"Malcolm, he convinced me to team up with him and save Laurel. Without him, I don't think we could've pulled it off." Sara says.

"I'm here, Thea. I'm never gonna leave you again." Laurel promises as she pulls Thea in for a tight hug.

"I thought I lost you forever." Thea sobs as she holds her tighter with sob that wrecks through her body.

Thea pulls back and locks Laurel into a passionate kiss.

"There's something I have to tell you though. I can't come home." Laurel confesses.

"What? Why?" Thea ask quickly.

"Laurel leaving this ship around anytime she was born or alive, it could disrupt the time line. Maybe causing her to die again." Sara explains.

"Then I'm staying right here with you." Thea says sternly.

"You can't do that, Thea. You have a life, a team that needs you." Laurel sighs.

"You are my life, and we are a team, Laurel. I'm not going anywhere without you. Sara, there happen to be any openings for the team?" Thea says.

"Sure, I'm always on the look out for a new Legend." Sara shrugs.

"Consider me a new Legend." Thea says.
