A/N: What? Me? Writing something that isn't Lauren-centric? Whaaaaat

But no, I'm bitter about not being able to work for an unknown amount of time because my state's governor is an actual asshat and so schools are shut down.

So here's this short, 500 word drabble one shot thing that's just fluff.

Read and enjoy.

"Dinah, no," Normani said for the tenth time in as many minutes. "We can't."

"Why not?" Dinah whined, turning to the older girl with a pout.

"We don't have the room."

The blonde scoffed. "We do, too. You just don't want to admit it."

Normani sighed and ran a hand over her face. "Dinah, just pick one."

"I can't," the taller girl complained. "Ally let Lauren get a kitten and they have Leo. Why can't I have both?"

"They also live with Demi and she has a huge house. Which is why they also have Batman."

"Well, maybe I should go ask if I can join their little trio, too," Dinah grumbled, then cried out slightly and rubbed the back of her head. "Rude. Remind me why you're my girlfriend again?"

"Because I am the only one willing to put up with your annoying ass twenty-four seven."

Dinah looked at the older girl in mock hurt. "That's not true. Lauren would too if she didn't already have two girlfriends."

"Lauren is the only other one then," Normani responded. "Now come on, pick one."

"I can't! They're too cute! Why would you make me choose between siblings?"

Normani sighed and shook her head. "Oh my god, I can't believe I'm about to do this," she muttered to herself before walking away. "She better appreciate my whipped ass, I'm not living this one down."

Approaching a shelter worker, she asked, "Hi, my girlfriend and I are wanting to visit with two puppies before seeing if we want to adopt them?"

The worker smiled. "Sure, no problem."

Normani smiled in return. "Awesome, thanks so much." She led the worker back to where Dinah was crouched next to the kennel, letting the two dogs lick her hand.

"Ah, the siblings. Although, the third one is getting a bath at the moment."

"Wait, there's a third?" Normani questioned, already feeling Dinah's puppy pout being directed at her.

"Mhmm. Angel, she's a sweetheart. She's very calm and loves cuddling," the worker replied.

Dinah snorted. "Sounds like Lauren."

"Pirate and Apollo are good natured, too," the worker added.

Normani was the one to snort this time. "Let me guess, the one with the black patch around its eye is Pirate?" she asked, pointing to the German shepherd with the black spot around it's left eye.

The shelter worker grinned. "Fitting, huh? They're all very good natured pups."

Another worker appeared with a tiny, freshly bathed shepherd pup in her arms. "Angel's all clean," she said as she opened the kennel door to let the tiny pup back in with her brothers.

"Wait," Normani said, looking between the three dogs. She looked to the ceiling for a second, knowing she would receive merciless teasing for the statement she was about to make. "We want to adopt all three."

Dinah squeal and tackled the older girl to the floor, hugging her tightly. "Yes, yes, yes, thank you thank you thank you thank you," she cheered, kissing her girlfriend's cheek a dozen times.

It took half an hour to get all of the paperwork in order, but the couple left the shelter that afternoon with three excited puppies who couldn't wait to properly greet their new mommies.
