Dinah was scrolling through her phone when a weight settled on top of her. She looked to see a head of jet black hair resting on her chest. "Hi, Lauren," she greeted warmly.
Lauren's only response was to try and burrow further into the blonde.
Dinah's smile slipped into a frown. "You okay, Ralph?" she asked concernedly. When she received no answer after a few moments, she asked, "Are you little today?"
Lauren immediately nodded, but didn't say anything else.
"How little, bub?" Dinah questioned, rubbing the girl's back slowly, but only got a shrug in response. "Can you tell Mama what's wrong, baby?"
"'Eel bad, Mama," the smaller girl mumbled into Dinah's shirt.
"Are you sick?" Dinah put a hand to the girl's head to check for warmth.
Lauren shook her head, tears welling in her eyes as she buried her face in the blonde's shoulder.
Dinah wrapped her arms around the girl's waist, holding her tightly. "Is my sweet girl really little today?" she questioned gently. "Are you my sweet baby today, Lo?"
Lauren nodded, tears spilling in relief that Mama was able to put into words what she was too little to do herself.
"Alright, baby girl, Mama and Mommy got you. Let's go see if lunch is ready, yeah?" Dinah suggested as she put her phone aside and stood, adjusting the girl in her arms to carry her toward the kitchen.
Lauren laid her head in the crook of the woman's neck, trusting her Mama to take care of her.
Mommy was finishing up lunch when they finished, and she looked at Lauren concernedly. "Everything okay?" she asked, more to Mama than to Lauren.
"Baby Lo has made an appearance today," Mama explained as she sat down, keeping Lauren in her lap. "And she's feeling bad today."
Normani looked over the girl on Dinah's lap. "Like sick bad or just bad?"
"Just bad. I think baby girl here just needs her Mommies today, huh?" she cooed softly to the raven haired girl, who nodded into her neck.
Normani set a plate in front of the blonde, sitting next to Dinah with her own. "Well, let's eat and then we can work on making the little one feel better," she said, picking up a sandwich sliced into a triangle and holding it out to Lauren.
The smaller girl reached out and took the offered slice, slowly nibbling on it. When she had finished it, she held a hand out in a silent request for another one. After about twenty minutes, Lauren decided she was done.
"Alright sweets, how do you feel about a bath?" Mama questioned as she stood and headed for the bathroom.
Lauren nodded. "'Ease, Mama," she whispered softly, her hand sneaking up to her mouth, but the blonde caught her.
"No, baby," Mama scolded gently, pulling Lauren's hand away. "Wait a minute, Mommy will bring your paci, alright?"
The girl huffed, but nodded. They made it to the bathroom, where she was set on the counter so Mama could start filling the tub. Mama approached and tied her hair up into a bun.
"We're not washing your hair since you did that last night. This is just to help you relax and feel better, sweets," Mama explained, helping Lauren out of her big girl clothes.
Mommy entered the bathroom just as Mama had her settled into the water. "Alright, I've got a towel for when you're done, and a diaper and clothes on Lauren's bed." The dark skinned woman knelt by the side of tub, holding a light blue pacifier with a monkey printed on it up. "Here, sweet girl."
Lauren accepted the offered soother, snatching it out of Mommy's hand and slipping it between her lips. She laid back against the tub, letting the warm water and rhythmic suckling of her paci soothe her.
Mama had put a few toys in the water, but Lauren was content to just sit and idly make little waves in the water with her hand. Every once in awhile Mama would massage her shoulders, and the action would lull her into sleep.
She must have drifted off at one point because the next thing she knew, Lauren was wrapped up in a fluffy towel in Mama's arms. She whined from behind her paci and hid her face in the blonde's neck.
"Shh, it's alright, bubs," Mama cooed softly, gently laying the girl on the bed. "We're going to get you into some comfy pjs and then go cuddle," she explained, unwrapping the towel from around the girl.
Lauren whined at the loss of the soft towel and the sudden, intruding cold air.
"Stop wiggling, baby girl," Mama instructed softly, putting a hand on the girl's tummy and rubbing slow, soothing circles. "We'll get you a diaper and then into some cozy pjs, okay?"
Lauren nodded and stopped moving like Mama had requested. She just wanted to be warm and comfy again.
Dinah smiled and slipped a diaper under Lauren's legs, rubbing in a bit of baby powder before taping up the sides. She grabbed the soft, gray romper laying at the head of the bed, sliding it under the girl before coaxing Lauren to put her arms and legs through the holes and snapping up the buttons.
Lauren was a little surprised when a hoodie was slipped over head. The sleeves extended passed her hands and it hung loosely off her frame, so it wasn't one of her own. The slight scent of vanilla and lavender told her she was wearing one of Mama's sweatshirts.
"Ready, my sweet girl?" Mama questioned, snaking her arms under the girl's back and legs and scooping her up. "I think Mommy has a bottle and movie waiting."
Lauren nuzzled into Mama's chest, her eyes drooping in exhaustion. She just wanted to be snuggled between her Mommies and drink her bottle until she fell asleep.
Mama carried her down the hall to the master bedroom where Mommy was waiting on the bed with Nala and a bottle. Lauren was set down in the middle of the bed, and immediately she turned and snuggled into Mommy's side.
"Here, baby girl," Mommy murmured, holding the nipple of the bottle to the girl's lips.
Lauren took the bottle in her hands and greedily started suckling, happy little mewling noises escaping every few moments.
Mama got into bed from the other side as Mommy pressed play and The Lion King began.
Lauren, contently suckling her bottle and nestled between her Mommies, finally felt whatever tension was left in her bones leave her, and she let out a soft sigh, sinking into the pillows.
Mommy chuckled softly and patted her diapered bottom. "I think the little one is finally relaxed."
Lauren held her half finished bottle up and slipped her paci back into her mouth. Mama took her bottle, allowing Lauren to snuggle further into Mommy as "The Circle of Life' began.
Mama leaned over and kissed the top of Lauren's head. "I'm happy you're feeling better, bubs."
Lauren sighed happily and took one of Mama's hands. Her tummy was full, she was warm and cozy, and she was cuddled up with her Mommies.
Mama and Mommy knew just how to make her feel better on a bad day, and she was fast asleep within minutes.

A/N: Hopefully you enjoyed. Let me know what you think.
Idk I'm just in a bad mood and decided to write some lil Lo getting comfort from her Mommies because that sounded nice.
If someone could teach me how to make friends that'd be awesome. Maybe then my family would stop making jokes that make me feel like shit.
