The Bizarre Exchange

~Prologue~

Whsipers of the wind in the morning night. Moonlight strucking through the room's windows. Two bodies laying on each others' arms. A young man stroking her hair and soothing; singing sweet words to the young girl.

~Sleep my little angel

as the night bid you farewell

Stars are twinkling guiding you by

the meadows are happily singing you a lullaby~

Stirring in her sleep and as she looks at him demanding him to stay. Reminding him of his promise to her and the love they swore to each other; bounding them together.

' He promised' she thought to herself over and over again ' He promised.' She clutched him shocking the young man but eventually smiled at his flower. His flower that no one could be compared to.

" Liitle girl, you should sleep now." chucklingly says the boy while staring lovingly at the young girl.

She groaned and pulled off him, glaring at him. " Call me a liitle girl again old man, I swear to the Gods, I'll rip your head off."

He just chuckled but mentally grimaced at her calling him old man. He is but .. "Oh yeah, you just turned sixteen last week. Seems like me being an old man proves to be true."

She smiled but frowned suddenly. " You're only 19." she said, pushing herself to him.

" Physically" He corrected while hugging her again" I'm older than you for like, 32 years."

" I hate it." she replied pouting. He chuckled again. " Why so?"

Sighing she said " You're older."

" You want me dating older women then?" he said shocked pulling her off him and watching her while holding her arms.

" No." she responded. " Our age gap is soooo long."

" You know that in our situation, in this age of mine I'm still young you know; not giving you the privilege of calling me old man."

" Yes, you are young, but for humans? If you tell them your real age, you'll see their eyeballs come out of their eye sockets." she said smugly.

" Whatever, " he said rolling his eyes " Besides, why would I reveal that? They'll hunt us."

With just that word, the girl clutched his shirt tightly staring at him, water ready to flood in her eyes.

He just pulled her to him, hugging her and again, stroking her hair. " I promised right? I won't leave."

"You're bad at them." pulling herself off him and again staring at him intently. " ... at promises."

" Trust me in this." He said rubbing the back of his knuckles to her pale, soft, rosy and smooth cheek. "Why would I leave you?"

" I, myself don't see a reason but, you're an idiot right?" smirking at him, lightening up the mood.

He should be mad at her, but no, " AND you're also one." Wide eyed she asked him, " Why?"

He pretended to think, putting his pointer finger under his chin for extra drama " Hmm, because you love me, an idiot, making yourself one." This time, it's his time to smirk.

'I can't let him win on this' , she thought She smirked again and made a smugly come back " Nu-uh, you know what they say, opposites attract." Mentally clapping for herself for being, as what she describes herself , 'awesome'
