Julian was sitting in the passenger seat of my car as I made my way down to my house. We've been really close recently. Things have been hard, but we're going through it all together. I've been with him as much a possible this summer, and that has made me sure of at least one thing.

I love Julian Athens.

I'm not entirely sure what to do about it, but I do have a plan. I've already started a few parts of it, but other things might be more difficult. Such as coming out to my parents.

They probably wouldn't mind me liking a guy, but they wouldn't let me stay overnight like I have been. Julian and I wouldn't be allowed as much alone time as we've been having.

"Alright, Athena. Let's get you that crappy bitter tea." I said as I got out of the driver seat.

"Shut up, my tea is amazing." He shot back, laughing a little.

As we were walking in, his hand wrapped around mine. This is just another thing that has happened as we've gotten closer. I've learned that Julian is insanely clingy and loves physical contact.

When we got to the living room, he jumped onto the couch and laid down while I went to the kitchen and made him some tea.

"No sweetener?" He asked as I walked in again. Well, it was more of confirmation that I could follow simple direction.

"Earl Gray, no sweetener, in the special white mug you like." I told him.

Julian smile up at me. "You're the best."

You won't think that in a moment, that's for sure.

I sat down next to him as I placed the tea on the table. "Athena. Julian." I started. "I want to try something."

"Umm... Romeo, you're being kinda weird." He replied, but shrugged anyways. "Alright, what do you want to try?"

I gently lifted up his chin, moving my lips to meet his. For just a moment, he was rigid and surprised, but that moment passed as he melted into the kiss, wrapping his arms around my shoulders.

This feeling was so different than what I was use to. His lips were so comfortable against mine, and it just felt right. The feeling wasn't anything like when I've kissed a girl, but was more... Connected.

Before I even realized it, I was on top of Julian, his legs wrapped around my body as well as his arms. I had a hand behind his head while I held him to me. This was so much more than just a kiss. It was me letting myself be me. It was Julian... Well, I'm not sure what he was thinking (Probably something perverted).

We disconnected for air, and he looked as if he'd gone into a total system restart. His eyes were so far away, and his expression was lost in the moment. To be honest, it was really cute.

"What... What just happened..?" Julian breathed out in a whisper.

It took me another moment to organize my head. "In all honesty, I just kinda decided to do that earlier today."

"Did we just kiss..?" He asked, his beautiful brown eyes locked with mine.

"I think that's referred to as making out." I told him with a light smirk.

"May I be excused to use the restroom..?" Julian muttered.

I got off of the boy and he sprinted into the other room. After a moment, I heard the door slam shut and a high pitched scream come from the bathroom. Oh god, please tell me that my mom or my cousin isn't here...

I ran over and threw the door open to see Julian standing in the middle of the bathroom freaking out and waving his arms around.

"THAT ASSHOLE KISSED ME!!! What the fuck just happened!?! That wasn't supposed to happen anywhere except for in my head!!!"

A smirk formed on my lips. "You fantasized about me kissing you?"

Julian spun around and stared with wide eyes. "WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO KNOCKING?!"

"I heard a high pitched scream. Thought I'd see who was here besides us." I answered.

"Shut up, you bastard!!!"

"I-I'm sorry..." I said in surprise. "I didn't realize it would upset you so much..."

"Of course I'm upset!! I've been crushing on you for half a year, knowing that you don't think of me like that! THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOURE ALL OVER ME?!?"

Wait... Is he upset because he's the only person that didn't realize I liked him?

"How long?" He asked.

"Woah there, I don't think we're quite at a point where~"

"I meant how long have you liked me? Or been thinking like that at least." He clarified. "Pervert..."

Oh... "Umm, I don't know. It just kinda built up until I was so confused that I didn't know what to think."

"Time frame."

"Before the end of last year." I told him.

Julian clenched his fists an turned away from me. "You're such an asshole..."

"I'm sorry... I didn't know what to do..."

"Tell me? Talk to me? Seduce me? All of those are pretty easy solutions to your issue." The boy scoffed.

"Hey, you were with Warren! I wasn't going to get involved in any of that crap." I said in defense.

Julian looked right at me. "THAT LONG!?"

"Yes!" I shouted back.

Julian marched over and grabbed onto my shirt, pulling himself up to my lips. He pulled away again, glaring at me. "You were right not to get involved when I was with Warren, but I'm not now, so I'm coming here everyday from now on."

"B-but I haven't talked to my mom and dad about... You know..."

"Yeah, that's why I'm coming here. Besides they're at work till at least six on most nights." Julian said, then glared at me. "Now come on, we need to talk about this."

This version of the story also had a smut scene early in the book and a bit more drama, but I pretty much restarted the book. So yeah. No sex.
