Was I going crazy? Maybe.

Was I nervous? Totally.

Was I over thinking? Of course.

A pretty blonde girl stopped and stepped in front of me in the hall, looking to see if anyone was listening to us. She was about my height, maybe an inch or so taller, and wearing a casual black top with skinny jeans.

"Is it true?" She asked quietly.

I knew exactly what she was asking about. She hadn't been the first to ask, that's for sure. "You'll need to be more specific."

She took in a breath. "Julian, are you and Romeo..? You know."

"We are dating." I said shyly, a smile forcing its way onto my face.

"You lucky bastard..." She muttered, punching my shoulder. "You need to tell me everything that happens. And I mean everything."

"Umm... I don't really know you, so that would be weird for me." I replied, rubbing the back of my neck.

The blonde took out a piece of paper and wrote down her number. "My name is Hannah, and you are going to be giving me all the gossip from now on."

"Umm... Alrighty then." I said, taking the paper. "Thank you?"

Hannah laughed before walking down the hall and out of sight. Henry was turned and watched as she left, then jogged over to me.

"What was that about? I didn't know Hannah knew you existed." He said in confusion.

"Well... A lot of people have decided to start talking to be since the day began." I muttered.

Henry raised a brow. "Why? What happened? Did you decide that vaginas aren't gross and now everyone wants you?"

"No, not exactly." I said. "Someone asked out Romeo this morning, and he said that he was taken."

"So people are asking you who he's with?" My buddy asked.

"No, he told them who he was with, and now it's spreading like wildfire..."

Henry looked even more confused for a moment and was about to say something, but Sasha came out of nowhere and smacked the back of his head.

"Romeo is dating Julian, you moron." She said, glaring at him. "How did you not put that together?"

"I did! I was just waiting for Julian to say something." He replied (Obviously not putting it together), then turned to me. "You and Romeo are dating, right?"

"Yes."

My heart skipped a beat as I heard him say that. Romeo just said we were dating. And he said it in public. And he's also right behind me.

I sighed happily as he draped his arms over my shoulders, pulling me close. "People have been pretty accepting about it too."

"Well that's because you're the golden boy." I laughed. "Nobody's going to say anything mean to you about it."

Romeo frowned. "Has anyone said anything to you about it?"

"Well, no, people have mostly just been asking about it to see if it's true. Plus, some kids have just been fangirling about it a bunch." I clarified. "Sophomores I think."

"Your fan club most likely. Or the yaoi fan club." Sasha remarked.

Henry started laughing. "If this school had a yaoi fan club, Julian would have a team of little girls guarding him at all times."

I rolled my eyes at his stupidity, then looked up at Romeo. "So nobody has bugged you?"

"No, not really." He replied.

"No or not really? Those are two different answers." I countered.

Romeo chuckled slightly. "People have been asking where this sudden choice came from, but nobody's been mean about it. More confused than anything else."

"Well, I'm pretty confused about it myself." Henry said. "And I even knew about your feelings for General Washington."

Did everyone know except for me? Seriously, did everyone know? WHY DOES NOBODY TELL ME THESE THINGS?!

"Well... I don't know, maybe it wasn't as sudden as people say. I mean, I've never really started a relationship with a girl before, I'm always the one being asked out." Romeo explained. "And with Julian... It was different. I wanted to be with him. I'm happy with this choice."

"So when did you guys talk about it? You know, Romeo being gay as all Hell." Sasha asked.

The golden boy turned his amber eyes towards me, nervously smiling. "To be honest, it was like two or three days ago."

"Wait... And now you're dating? Already?"

"Hey, we've known each other for quite awhile now, I don't think it's that weird for us to decide to date." Romeo said.

"I mean, we still haven't talked about expectations and comfort levels." I mentioned casually. "But we started dating the moment the gay talk was over."

Romeo shrugged, still holding onto me. "I don't know if we're quite there just yet, so it's not the end of the world."

I raised a brow at the idiot. "Dude, we almost fucked on your couch after you told me."

"You WHAT?!" Henry snapped. "Wait, wait, YOU TWO WERE GOI~"

Sasha covered his mouth with both hands. "Please excuse this moron, but may I suggest this conversation go somewhere more private?"

Looking around, I could see why she'd want to leave the hall. At this point, we had gathered the attention of pretty much anyone within earshot, and many of them were whispering to each other while watching us.

This is it. This is where Romeo decides that he's straight and that he was just testing the water. This is when the stares and side glances get to him and~

Romeo pulled my chin up to look him in the eyes, then started kissing me right in front of the crowd. I felt his tongue slip into my mouth, open from shock. My legs nearly gave out from under me, but he held me up until his lips moved back.

Wow... That was a really nice kiss... Wow...

I can't feel my legs anymore. My head feels fuzzy. The only thing I could see was Romeo, smiling at me like an idiot and keeping me on my feet.

The sudden sound of cheering and clapping pulled me out of my daze. Everyone around looked like they'd just finished watching some fantastic play or something. They were looking at Romeo and... And me. I've never had people cheering me on for being gay. Damn. I guess that's what I get for dating the golden boy.
