Chris was watching as Julian and I awkwardly sat on the couch, nobody making eye contact.

"So what exactly happened?" My best friend asked. "Because it looked like you two were about to fuck."

"Well... I told Julian how I've been feeling... About him." I muttered.

Chris looked at Julian expectantly. "And?"

"I... May have teased him about it and encouraged him to do less than appropriate things, not thinking that anything would happen..."

"Aaaaaand?"

"Something did happen..." I mumbled.

"Ok, so I have one finally group of questions." Chris said to us.

Julian looked up nervously. "And those questions are..?"

"Are you two a thing? Are you two gonna man up and be open about it? Are you two going to homecoming together?"

Cricket, cricket, cricket.

"Come on, these are important questions, so will someone say something."

I took in a breath. "We haven't talked about it yet."

"Well maybe you need to." He commented. "Ok, let's start simple. You guys find each other to be attractive, yes?"

Julian smiled shyly, nodding slightly. "He is pretty hot..."

"I-I do like him a lot..." I whispered in response.

"Ok, that's a start. Now, how about personalities? Do you like each other for who you are?" Chris asked.

"Well..." How do I say this? "I like how strong and powerful Julian can be, and how he flaunts it to the world like he doesn't care what they think. I like how energetic and caring he can be, and I find his clinginess to me... Kinda adorable."

"Ok, let's move on to Julian's thoughts before I get sick from the lovey dovey, shall we?"

Julian nodded. "Romeo's a self confident guy, and I like that. He's out there, and is involved, and people like him. He's also very hot, if I haven't mentioned before."

Chris nodded plainly. "Yes yes, we all know he is very attractive, let's continue. Would you two want to date?"

"Well, I wish he was a little more assertive, but yeah, I'd want to date him." Julian said, rolling his eyes slightly. "He's 40% muscles, 40% boyfriend material, and the last 20% is hot as fuck."

My heart rate is too high I think. "I... Yes, I'd want to date Julian I think..."

"Ok, now do you want to be open about it?"

Julian and Chris both looked at me at the same time. Things were a tad awkward for a moment while I waited for someone to say something.

"Well?" Chris asked.

I turned my view from one to the other. "What? Why are you guys looking at me?"

"Well let's see. We were just asked if we want to be open about being two dudes that make out." Julian started, attempting not to laugh. "And one of us is very openly gay and has been forever, while the other is questioning why he wants dick."

"I-I just, umm... I need... Just..."

"He's got a point, dude, I think this is your choice." Chris told me.

Why the heck would anyone give me control over a choice like this?! I am not the guy for this stuff! Let me lead a sports team, let me set up a dance, let me organize some event that nobody else wants to do, but for the love of everything holy, don't let me choose this...

"I-I don't know."

"As I said before, I do wish he was more assertive." Julian remarked. He smiled, looking down slightly and zoning out. "Pushing me down on the bed... Biting my neck... Making me moan and wa~"

"Ok, please, no more." Chris said. "I'm fine with whatever it is you want, but I really do not want to have those images in my head."

Athena snapped back to reality, his cheeks bright red. "Umm... Right."

"I wouldn't be embarrassed to be with Julian." I said nervously. "But people would ask questions about it, and I don't know if I'd have answers..."

Chris raised a brow. "What kind of questions are you expecting?"

My voice came as a whisper. "If I'm gay..."

"Well, if you don't know, then just tell them that." Julian told me, gently taking my hand. "Tell them what you think is true. If you don't know, that's fine. If it's none of their business, tell them that."

I turned to Athena, his warm chocolate eyes focused on me, letting me feel as if I wasn't entirely alone in this. His hand was comforting and his lips were formed in a soft smile. They look very soft.

"Ok." I finally said. "I'd be ok with coming out for you."

"Adorable." Chris commented. "Now, I feel as if I should leave now so you two can continue where I interrupted."

Heat started filling up my face again before I could even think about an answer. "W-well we~"

"Thank you, that would be appreciated." Julian said in a cheery tone.

"Wait! Why did you come over actually?" I quickly asked. "Don't want to waste your time or anything."

"Oh, I was just stopping by to pick up the Three Days Grace CD I lent you." Chris stated, standing up. "But now that I think about it, I've got digital copies, so I'll pick it up another time."

He walked out of the house, leaving me and Julian all alone together, but like before. I turned to see the small boy smiling up at me (And looking completely adorable).

"So... Does this mean I can call you my boyfriend?" He asked.

Without a moments thought, I placed my lips on his and fell over with Julian on the couch.

I pulled away and smiled at him. "Yeah... I think I'd be ok with you calling me that."
