The car was driving smoothly but I couldn't help but feel dizzy. My whole life had changed in just a month. Or should I say, a day.

Just hours ago, I was a carefree soul. Just months ago, my life was peaceful - compared to now. I was a prisoner now. The marriage Mr Walid Aydin had forced me into, had put me in chains, restricting me from my own life.

Turning to my side, I found him typing away on his phone. It seemed like he felt me staring at him, hence his eyes leaving the screen in his hands and looking up at me.

I quickly looked away, not wanting to catch his eyes. They were so dark and intimidating...

My fingers started to shake and I shivered when I felt him staring at me. I gathered all the courage inside me and spoke up, not bearing the silence anymore.

"Where are we going?'' I asked, not turning to look at him.

"Honeymoon." He replied, his voice holding no form of emotions.

"Over my dead body." I managed to say coldly as I felt my cheeks flare up at his words.

"It would honestly be a adventurous experience. I've never tried it with a corpse." His terrifying words made me frantically look at him.

"How can you speak to me like that?" I asked angrily.

"Speak to you like what? I just said that I've never went on honeymoon with a corpse." He paused and took in my expression. "You should get your mind checked." He advised.

I felt my cheeks heat up even more in embarrassment. "No thank you, my mind is perfectly fine. Answer my question, where are we going?" I asked, my voice a bit raised, which earned me a look from him.

"Where do you think?" He retorted sternly.

"To the cemetery, you can choose the perfect spot for your grave and once I'm done killing you, I'll bury you. If you want an upgraded package, I'll come and water your grave for you every year on our anniversary." I gave him a fake smile.

"That's very thoughtful of you." He spoke, sounding unexpectedly calm. That's another thing I had noticed about him, he was always so calm and collected...

"I'm being very patient, don't make me angry because you won't be able to take it." I hissed in warning.

Suddenly, in a swift movement, he moved closer making me panic and skip away from him.

"I've just married you against your will, in front of your family. You said very proudly that you would never accept, but you still did everything I told you to do. You are here right now - in my car - heading to where I want us to go. But still, you have that little hope of me not being able to control you?" His words felt like a slap to my face. "It won't take me seconds to crush that hope into pieces. So just lean back, and don't bother me more."

My heart started beating faster and I felt the anger and thunder inside of me reappear. Everything he had said was true. I had always obeyed him and everything he had said, helplessly.

"If you don't want me to bother you, why am I here? Stop the car and let me go." I screamed suddenly, sounding hysterical.

My hands moved to the door and I tried to open it, but to my luck, it was locked. Not that it would turn any good if it hadn't been locked. We were in the highway...

I looked back at him and saw him shake his head in disbelief at my actions, his attention turning back to his phone.

It disturbed me deeply how unbothered he was about my feelings and demands. How could someone be so evil and cruel towards someone who hadn't even done anything bad to you?
