"Who are you?'' He looked at me emotionlessly when I asked that question. His eyes stayed on me longer than necessary, making me shift uncomfortably.

The unfamiliar man made his way to the table and pulled out a chair before taking a seat.

I wondered if he was someone close to Walid. He must've been. If he had been an unwanted guest, he wouldn't make it inside so easily.

I watched as he looked up at me again, almost as if he couldn't get a grip of what his eyes were seeing. "How old are you?" He asked suddenly as his eyes stared intensely at me.

I noticed his eyes had turned soft and he seemed mesmerized, making me feel very uncomfortable.

I held my guard and narrowed my eyes at him but frowned when I saw a different emotion sweep through his eyes. I noticed pain as his eyes watered a bit. But it didn't last long as he he quickly closed his eyes and ran a hand over his face, a way of composing himself.

"Twenty." I replied shortly. I waited for him to say something but he never did. He just kept staring at me."Is something wrong?'' I finally asked, feeling very uncertain.

''You are not how I thought you would be.'' His face held no emotion and he was looking straight into my eyes while speaking.

''I don't understand?" I let out. Why was he being so...confusing and weird?

His lips parted to say something but a familiar voice interrupted. "What are you doing here?'' My eyes shifted to the doorway, finding Walid standing there, his eyes filled with hidden anger as he watched the man in front of me.

Walid kept the hard gaze on the man while walking towards me. He stopped right in front of me, covering me from the man's sight.

I could hear the unknown guest getting up from the chair and walking towards us. ''I heard from a birdie that you got married and just came to see if it was true. I hope my visit didn't disturb you guys." He spoke calmly.

''I won't show you forced hospitality since you always say I'm a bad liar. You know the way out.'' Walid said, his voice cold.

''I don't have an intention of staying. Wish you happy married life." The man sounded sarcastic. "Let's hope you can keep her safe."

"I'll try to do it better than you." Walid said, making silence take over the room.

I had no clue what Walid mean by that but whatever he said, got to the man because the next thing I knew, he was holding Walid by the collar.

"You're really falling lower and lower each time." The man let out, his voice raised as he pushed Walid against the wall.

"What did you want to prove by coming here?" Walid shouted back, not hesitating in connecting his fist to the man's jaw.

I gasped and felt my heart drop in fear. "Nothing. I just get this immense joy of seeing you take stupid decisions." The man tackled Walid to the ground and punched him back.

"Just like I get the immense joy of seeing you so interested in my life." Walid turned them over and punched the man several times.

The man kicked Walid, making Walid's back hit the table behind him. "Once you mess it all up, I'll be the one laughing." He tried to punch Walid again but Walid moved quickly and held the man down by the neck against the table.

"I won't mess anything up as much as you did." Walid spoke sadistically as he dragged the man's face against the table, the sound of the plates and cups falling on the floor and breaking reaching my ears.
