the rest of their date night ended up being magical. it was one of the best nights of donghyucks life. mark and donghyuck walked back to his car hand in hand while mark was preparing his keys.

"donghyuck, i really hope you enjoyed it tonight. im not sure if there was anything that was missing or good enough but the next one will be-"

donghyuck cut him off with a hug.

"dont say anything, tonight has been the best night of my life. everything was perfect. thank you so much for going through all this trouble just for me."

mark hugged donghyuck back as they stayed like that for a while. mark brought his hands up to donghyucks cheeks to cup them and pulled him in for another kiss.

donghyuck caught a glimpse of something in the corner of his eye. it looked like a flashlight being held by someone.

mark opened the door as donghyuck silently went it without questioning the strange light.

mark started driving as donghyuck couldnt stop thinking about the kisses they shared. everytime they would kiss, it would bring butterflies to donghyucks stomach and make his heart flutter.

mark noticed donghyuck staring at him, so he decided to speak to him.

"can't resist me huh?"

"well yea, i mean you're mark lee, who wouldnt resist you?"

"am i really that handsome."

"um, yes? of course you're mark lee."

"ok, ok no need to keep reminding me of who i am." mark started laughing as donghyuck smiled.

"donghyuck, you know what.. i really think im falling in love with you."

donghyucks heart started exploding as his eyes widened. he looked away from mark and made sure mark couldnt see his red face.

"donghyuck, look at me. dont hide your pretty face from me."

that made the matter worse as donghyuck was blushing so much. he obeyed mark and looked at him while mark started cooing.

"awww you're so cute donghyuck."

mark pinked his cheeks as donghyuck pouted.

"focus back on the road. we dont wanna be in a car crash now do we?"

"well if it means im dying with you ill take that chance."

"MARK STOP YOUR MAKING ME SO RED STOP!!" donghyuck lost it as mark started laughing.

"you're so cute when your mad."

"ok thanks, now stop flirting with me. you're even worse then jeno."

mark focused back on the road and noticed a suspicious looking car that had been following them for a while now. he started driving in a different direction to what he normally does and the car followed.

"mark? what are you doing?"

"i think that car behind us is following us."

donghyuck looked and saw a black car but couldnt see the people inside. mark all of a sudden stopped and the car stopper too.

"donghyuck, stay here. im gonna go check who it is."

"what? no! at least let me come with you."

"donghyuck if anything happens call the police immediately."

"but mark-."

"donghyuck please listen to me."

"f-fine, but dont do anything stupid."

"i wont."

mark stepped out of the car and walked towards the other one.

"i promose."
