"Can't I collect the laundry now so we can go grocery shopping?"

"You are just postponing the inevitable. Remember that the sale ends at 13.00,"
"Uuh, let's go on a date next week, Wife!"
"Sure, Husband. I will book a table at your favourite restaurant later. Have a safe trip,"
