The night before, she saved a kitten.
The morning after, she wakes up to a boy sleeping beside her.
Kicking the boy in his gut, she screams.
This is not a matter of the kitten turns human or vice versa because of gratitude or curse.
This is the matter of someone botching a summoning ritual which summoned a kitten instead of a person.
The universe, after sending the kitten away, replaces the kitten's presence beside the girl with someone who she will form a strong bond with, to substitute for the bond she should have formed with the kitten.
Right now though, they don't know that.
It's doubtful if they will ever know that.
As of now, they should know that screaming at each other will only invite people barging into the girl's room.
Before anyone else catches them together this early in the morning, the boy better goes back to his room in the house next door through the window.
The explanation for his infiltration?
He is innocent!
