She takes it as a challenge to be creative on how their eyes make contact, as another form of greeting.
Without announcing her presence, sometimes, he is not aware she is around. Too busy with his own business, it looks like.
Without meaning to, she can sneak up on him now. It's fun when it lasts. The longer he doesn't immediately know she is there, the more she doesn't like this arrangement.
Why do they have to be cautious about this? It's just tripping! No problem! She can take the hit!
Why get hurt when she can avoid it?
Why stop greeting him just because she will trip?
They aren't seeing eye to eye anymore. It is frustrating, to be honest.
Ah, how about this then.
Instead of a simple greeting, speak a sentence instead.
It does sound foolish. Yet, it works. A miracle.
From then on, every time she sees him, she will say anything in her mind as a greeting.
Including a love confession, it turns out.
