I am a childhood friend of the famous Voice Actress.
The opinion of whoever has heard her voice, she is a very expressive person!
The opinion of whoever has met her in person, she is a very stoic person!
In truth, her personality is like that. She can be overly serious on a lot of matters, but when it comes to voice acting, she is very...passionate.
I once asked her how she could be so expressive as a Voice Actress and she answered me:
1. Face the wall
2. Read the script
3. Imagine the scene
4. Say what's in mind
I think such advice is only applicable to this Voice Actress.
There was a time she was invited to star a talk show, but she vehemently refused. Scared the staff into crying with how scary she looked when told about the invitation.
Later, whilst still feeling guilty, this impressive Voice Actress told me:
"The very reason why I become a Voice Actress instead of an Actress is because I am shy in front of the camera!"
That's the deal. Such a shy(?) person, to be her childhood friend, it's great~
