"Come on Zayda, time to take your medicine"I took out the liquid medicine for Zayda. Zayda been sick for a few days. Just a little cold. Not trying to prevent it going to a fever and then she have to see the doctor.
She look at the medicine and shook her head no. She a smart kid as well. I know Zayda will become something one day. With her father gone back to Boston, I'm at peace.
Ronnie is back working with his band and doing tours. I'm not sure about him cause sometimes he text me wyd baby like a few minutes after we talked already.
"zay zay come on and take your medicine"I said. She slap the spoon away crying then crawled away from me to the face board of the bed.
"Fine then. No apple juice for you"I said. She cried again asking for me to hold her. I pick her up and held her in my arms. "Still have to take your medicine"
I walk to the kitchen seeing zable fixing something to eat. "Zable, what you doing here?"
"I'm hungry. Zach didn't cook anything so I decided to come over here"She smiled. "Hi tete pumpkin"zable pick Zayda up.
"Be careful, she sick"I said.
"So, how is the school with the skin and nasty people crap"zable said.
"I'm getting there. Right now I'm just watching them and then I can be a nurse. Couple years or so, I can work as a doctor"I smiled.
"Look at you. Work as register nurse to a woman's clinic now going to the skin people"
"Can you stop saying skin people"I said.
"What eves"she laugh while playing with Zayda.
"Heard from mom and dad?"I ask.
"I didn't want to tell you but mom and dad is getting a divorce"zable said.
"What?"I narrowed my eyebrows. "Wait. Mom and dad been together for a long time. Can't be"
"Yeah"She nod her head. "Kind of sad but I was tired of dad telling mom what to do"
"A man suppose to do that"I said.
"Like Zion and Ronnie tells you what to do"zable said.
"Excuse you"
"I'm sorry. Just stress"She gave me back Zayda and walk away with her food.
