I walk in Gabbi house seeing her mom holding crying Ophelia. Ophelia eyes was red and her face was red too.
"Whats wrong with her?"I ask. Gabbi mom gave me Ophelia. I rock her back and fourth so she be quiet.
"She's hungry"Gabbi mom said.
"Well, where is her momma?"I ask.
"Gabbi left last night to see her friends. Never came back"She said. "Ophelia only feeds on Gabbi breast"
"When was the last time she ate?"I ask.
"Yesterday evening"her mom said. Gabbi is wrong for that. She wanted this baby, she have to take care of Ophelia.
"Ima see if I can call her"I put Ophelia back in her baby bed. I walk outside dialing Gabbi number. Where the hell she at? Finally she answer the phone.
"Hello"
"Where the hell are you? Ophelia is hungry and the only way for her to eat is by breast milk"
"Oh my god Zion. Your just like my momma. Im on my way home"
I hung up the phone and walk back in the house. Ophelia was still crying.
"What she said?"Gabbi mom ask.
"She's on her way"I said. She nod her head walking upstairs. I held Ophelia while she cried for bit still hungry.
Hours pass and Gabbi just made it home. She had a hicky on her neck and face. "Awwwww, look at yall"she smiled.
"Please come feed her"I said.
"Just wait, I have to eat"Gabbi grab an banana. "Why you so worried about her?"
"Cause she's my child"I said.
"Whatever"Gabbi ate the fruit. "You dont want to stay with us"
"I'm busy with other things"I said.
"Like what? That bitch zoya and her ugly ass child"Gabbi laugh. I stood up with Ophelia looking at Gabbi. "What you going to do?"
I put Ophelia in the crib and walk to Gabbi who was just smiling at me. "You know"I grab her throat choking the hell out of her. "You playing with fire right now. I suggest you go over there, breast feed Ophelia, and shut your mouth bitch!!"I yelled throwing her to the floor.
"You was always abusive to me Zion! Why?!!"She yelled.
"Cause you never fucking listen. Always running your mouth"I said.
She look at me with tears in her eyes and a furious face. She got up and walk to the kitchen grabbing something. "I'm so sick and tired of you putting your hands on me Zion!"She ran up to me with a knife stabbing my forearm.
I yelled out loud so her mom can hear but I dont think she here. "You crazy bitch!!"I yelled.
"We're both crazy Zion. Let's be together"She smiled. She took the knife and tried to stab me again but I block her.
"Why you doing this?"I ask.
"I want that diner back. It belong to my family Zion not yours"She said.
"Over a damn diner"I look down at my forearm seeing that I was bleeding heavily. I'm losing blood.
"Yeah. And it ain't no damn diner, it's my daddy's diner"She cried. She took the knife and stab my shoulder. I fell to the floor seeing the blood all over me. She took the knife and stab my chest where my heart was and I black out.
