Waddup ARMYsss!! Here i have compilations of theories/explanations about the BTS' storyline that you all have been cracking your heads off about.
I dont know if this whole theory is true or not but it seems like it is.
Also this theory is quite conf...
In I NEED U, JungKook was pushed around by adults (the thugs in black hoodies), thrown against the wall and beaten up badly while powerless to defend himself; in Run, he's now also pushed around and thrown against the wall, but this time Suga is the abuser (rejecting him and rejecting reality). Here though, JungKook, visibly hurt by Suga's behaviour towards him, rebels and hits his opponent — after he attempted to appease the other boy, and even though he still obviously wants to reconcile (the way Jin wants to reconcile his old and new self as well).

INU & Run (mirroring fight scenes)
They keep fighting and Kookie is eventually left all battered and bruised on the floor, in a blatant parallel to I NEED U. However, what happens next differs significantly: a raging Suga throws a chair across the room and into a mirror, symbolically shattering his own reflection in pieces, expressing here his confusion over who he is — it's not his reflexion that we see being shattered though, it's the one of some blue roses in the background.
Conversely, JungKook in the next shot looks at himself in a non-broken mirror, illustrating a reverse state of mind (he knows who and what he is). He then breaks the fourth wall as if telling us that something inside him has changed just there, basically saying he is breaking free from Suga (and everything that makes him feel controlled over and powerless, feelings that are connected to youth in his mind). In other words: he's letting go of childhood (the camera then pans out and frames him surrounded by the "void" that is adulthood, as depicted in Run; the blue roses are now lying, crushed, on the floor).

Run, Korean & Japanese ver. (mirror & darkness/void motif)
Interestingly enough, the vase for the blue roses during the fight is placed just right next to some books, as if they were inviting us to read more into the flowers that what is being shown. Incidentally, another subliminal message can be read on the motel room walls back in I NEED U: "Read more, show less", which actually refers to the jQuery toggle functionality you can see on websites, suggesting once again to read more into what his being presented.
