Jimin's mother paced along outside the emergency room. I looked at the name at the top of the bed's headboard, eyes traveling down to the drip that Jimin was connected to. I took my hands off from Jimin's shoulders gently.

I needed to talk to someone to find out what caused Jimin's seizure at the bus stop...I don't know why Jimin was brought to the emergency room. I wanted to talk to Jimin's mother about it, but I was too scared and awkward as I felt her gaze, which had been fixed on me way too long, burn into my back.

When I turned to look at her she mumbled a small "thank you" before turning away.

Later on when the doctors and nurses approached Jimin's bed, his mother followed the bed as they wheeled him out. I followed him for a while too until she thanked me again, slightly pushing my shoulder.

There was a solid line between us as we met each other's eyes...

For once, I felt as if there was a line I'd never be able to cross between Jimin and his mother. I'd lived in an orphanage for ten years and yet, they had still taken me in and shown me so much care and kindness.

As Jimin's mother looked at me, I stepped further away from the bed. Jimin's small graceful frame was handsome, but still, there was an unseen shadow that was visible to me as I looked a little closer.

He'd been deprived of the attention he'd needed due to the care his parents had shown me. In a way, it felt as if his mother was blaming me for Jimin's seizure at the bus stop...

After that day, Jimin didn't come to school anymore...it was all my fault...

Is it the end of Jimin and Jhope's friendship??
