I took off my shirt again, frustrated. The shirt wasn't like me at all. The red color, DREAM written on the front, nor the tight fit suited me. Annoyed by my frustration and struggle over the shirt, I took out a cigarettte. I reached for the lighter in my jeans pocket, but quickly realized that it was in my bag.
With the red shirt still in hand, I dug out the lighter, grabbing a lollipop (candy stick) as well. I threw the red shirt and the lollipop over my shoulder.
Now content with a cigarette and a throbbing head as I sat at my desk, a text came through on my phone. As soon as I saw the letters of the name on the screen, my heart dropped.
I rechecked the message to make sure I was actually reading it right, breaking my cigarette in half.
The next moment, I knew I was smiling in front of the mirror, smiling and laughing at my silly reflection wearing the red shirt.
What message was that??? And that smile.. Was it genuine? Or sarcasm?
