I open my eyes.I had a huge pain in my thigh.I was in the hospital.I sat up.Then Khalil came in with Abri,Justin,and Chad.I roll my eyes at Khalil and Chad.Everyones eyes were red.Abri ran to hug me.I hugged her back.
"What happened?"I ask
"Your dad,shot you in your thigh"Abri said
"Did they let him out of prison?"I asked
"No,he escaped"Justin said
"Oh"I said
"Well they want you to move Dezi"Khalil said
I rolled my eyes at him."Abri please tell him im not talking to him"I said
"Dezi,your in the hospital and your still mad?"Khalil said
He was right.I smiled."When i'm healed,i'll be mad at you"i said
he laughed."Deal"he said
He came over and hugged me.I hugged him back.He kissed my forhead.Justin came over and hugged me.He smelled like axe.I hugged Chad too.Then i scooted over and Abri sat down.Justin turned on my Tv.Then the doctor walked in.
"Okay,well visiting hours are over two of you may stay over night,others must leave."The doctor said
"Okay,"Justin said
Justin and Chad left.Khalil sat on the couch.I was hungry.I haven't eaten since this morning.
"Khalilly ,i'm hungry"i said in a sweet voice
"I'm Khalilly when you want something huh?"he laughed"Okay,I got you"he said getting up.
I smiled."Love you bestfriend"
"mhmm, love you too"he said walking out the door
We laughed.I turned to Abri.
"So,you got to be the boss, while i'm gone."i said
"Gurl,you know I got it"
"Okay,and don't be nice to them freshman."
"Its the second week of school on Monday"
"Girl,I got you, don't worry"
"OK"
"Hey but I'm going to go change and take a shower,you want any thing from your house"
"My laptop but be careful when you go back"
"Okay"
She handed me the remote and walked out the door.I turned the channel to Bet.Then the nurse walked in.She looked like a candy striper.
"Umm Dezi?"The girl said shyly
"Yes,do I know you?"
"Yeah,Its um me um..um Jacky"
The once fierce girl,is afraid to talk to me.I was wondering what happened to her.
"Oh yeah i know you,can i help you?"I said with a little attitude
"I'm sorry about the whole 8th grade thing..I just wanted to be popular and Keisha was close enough i guess"

"Its good,so where you at now?"
"Forest High school"
"I thought they were gonna close that down like next month"
"Yeah, so we will be going to your school"
"Okay,yall gonna be in for a rude awaking"
"Why?"
"Cause I run the school and What i say or my crew goes,everybody knows that"
"Okay,you know Keisha is gonna have a hard time with that.She runs are school"
"It good she will learn.If i tell they whole school to jump someone they will do it!"
"Oh,thats whats up"
Then Khalil walks in.With a Starbucks Frappuccino and a McDonald's bag.Ahh he knows me so well.Thats a true bestfriend.He changed into some pajamas too.
"Omg,thanks you Khalil"i said as he handed me the food
"Your welcome,"he says stealing the remote and sitting on the couch
"You and Khalil are still besties after graduation day"she whispered in my ear
"Yeah,he found me a few days ago"i whispered back
Then Abrine walked in.She had on some spongebob pajama pants and a t-shirt.She had my laptop in her hand.She moved Khalil who was spread out on the couch.She Jacky and her eyes opened.I pretty sure she was wondering why she sitting on the edge of the hospital bed.
"Jacky?"Abrine said
Khalil looked up.He probably didn't recolonize her.She looked like a lame.
"Hi,Abrine..Khalil"
"Keisha's best friend Jacky?"Khalil
"Yeah,"She said
Then it got awkward.
"Well i have have to get back to work,bye Dezi"
"Bye"i said
I opened the McDonald's bag.It was a 20 piece nugget,and fries.I pulled it out and set it on the bed table.I sipped the frape.They were staring at me 'like are you crazy'.
"What?"i say
"Yall cool?"Abrine said
"i guess she apologized"i said eating a nugget
"Okay,"Khalil said stealing some fries
I shot him a look and finished eating.
