I looked at my phone one more time. Can you even block a text? I sighed. I'm just going to ignore it. I walked down stairs. Kalvin was sitting at the table talking to my mother. My mom thinks of him as a son. He is always asking her for advice, or help with homework. She always delivers.
"Good Morning.." She said
I smiled. "Morin"
I kissed her cheek. She smiles. Theres coffee on the counter for you. I smiled.
"Thanks.."
Diamond walked down the stairs.
"Were going to be late" She said
I groaned. I sipped my coffee. It was made just right.
"Alright lets go…..Kalvin.."
He got up from the table. We all said goodbye to my mother. I took my coffee with me. We all hopped in the car.

When we arrived at the school We all parted are separate ways. I still kinda on edge about that text. I just don't know what to do. If I show Corahn he'll question me about Justin. If I show Justin he might worry. I walked to my locker and opened it. I sipped my coffee again. Abrine walked up.
"Hey.." She said to me
"Wassup"
"Nothing, you alright?"
"Yeah, why?"
"That argument with Corahn was kinda harsh"
I rolled my eyes. "Don't remind me" I answered
Tamyra walked up smiling with Justin.
I raised an eyebrow at them. He flashed me his million dollar smile. I smiled back and I felt my stomach flutter and warmth come over my body. I'm not worried anymore. He hugged me. I hugged him back. We pulled away to only see Corahn there watching. My moment of happiness just faded away. I sipped my coffee again.
"Dezi can we talk?" He asked
I nodded. "Bye yall" I said
They nodded.We walked down the hall, where no one was. He looked at me.
"Look baby, I know we have been having some issues but I'm trying my best okay"
I nodded.
He grabbed my hand."I love you..and I'm sorry, I've just been stressed, you know doing the whole thing with mb and trying to keep you happy. Its hard to balance."
"I understand, but you need to chill out on the lashing it out on me."
He nodded. He leaned in and kissed me. For me they just don't feel the same. Its just so bland. He pulled away.

"I like those..."Dezi said pointing to some tall ass_ heels.
"Can you even walk in those?" I asked smiling
"Challenge accepted" she said smiling.
I sat down on the bench inside the isle. We are in DSW shoes. The only guys in here are the one's accompanied by their girls, then there is me and Dezi. I thought I would get her out of her mini depression, she's still hasn't told me why she was mad at me. She simply answers "It doesn't matter" and keeps going about her business. She finds her size and slips on the 6 in high heels, with rhinestones. I stood up next to her. I chuckled. She was still shorter than me, by a lot. Her 5'3 to My 6'4 with the heels her 5'9 to my 6'4. She made a pout face.
