Last Day in Compton..

I bounced the ball, twice.
"I got $100 he can't do it" Devon said holding up a $100 dollar bill.
"I got $100 he can" Dezi holding up her money.
Alannah just smirked.
"I would hate to take your money baby girl"
"Um you won't" Dezi said in confidence.
They bet me I couldn't make a free throw from the opposite free throw line. I bounced the ball once more. I looked at Dezi who smiled at me. That's all I need right there. I shot the ball. I watched it go all the way across the court.... Into the basket.
Dezi took the $100 bill out of his hand laughing.
"How the h^ll he do that?" Devon asked
"Practice.." I answered
Dezi walked right up to me and hugged me. I looked down at her smiling face. She handed me the $200 .
"Good Job Justin"
I smiled. "Thanks"
"Dezi!" someone called
We looked to the voice. It was Destiny.
"Grandma wants to see you, now"
She nodded.
"You staying?" she asked
I nodded.
"Alright.."
She walked off.
"I'm going home..its too hot" Alannah said walking away.
"How you meet Dezi?" He asked
"School.."
He nodded holding his hands up to pass him the ball.
"Yall go out?" He asked shooting the ball
"Naw.."
I rebound the ball.
"Why not?"
"She's got a boyfriend..besides it anit even like that"
"Her n^gga cool with you"
"Yeah.."
He nodded.
"You wanna get some one on one" He asked
I nodded and passed him the ball.

We walk back into the house. My grandmother was smiling hard. Diamond was sitting on the couch next to Tyga. Dezi and I sat in the love seat.
"Whats going on?" Dezi asked
"The surprise person is here...now remember to stay calm and hear all the details no matter, how your feeling....promise me that"
We all nodded.
"Dawn..!" My grandmother called
We looked at each other like what the f^ck..
"This lady ion gone cenial" Dezi mumbled.
I nudged her. We heard a door open from the back of the house. A few foot steps later, in walked our mother.
I felt my heart drop.

When you were born, you cried and everybody else was happy. The only question that matters is this - when you die, will you be happy when everybody else is crying?
I quickly closed my eyes. Is this some joke Jesus. I have already seen Devin this week. Am I going crazy? Some one just tell me this is just some sick joke. I placed my hands over my face. I felt a lump in my throat and a weight on my chest.
"Dezi open you eyes baby" My grandmother spoke.
I remove my hands and opened my eyes. There she was..looking back at me with few tears out of her eyes. Destiny, Diamnod, and Tyga were already hugging her. I stood up as she opened her arms for me too. I walked up to her and joined in.

"Mommy don't leave.." I said
She hugged me. "I'm just going to work..I'll be back soon"

We stayed in that hug, for what seemed for forever.We all pulled away.
"Alright..I have somethings to explain"
We all sat back down.
"Your father was abusive...He had a short temper and we all knew that. I was planning to pack us all up and leave. I had a plan. I really thought it would work. I faked the car accident. I just wanted to leave and never see him again. About two weeks later. I was settled in and ready to be with my children again, but He moved. Yall all seprate it was such a huge mess. I knew where Destiny and Michael were but Diamond and Dezi where no where to be found. So I searched and I searched. I called in help. Nothing... I really thought I had lost my kids. I collapsed. I was in a coma for about 4 months. I slowed down on the search. I knew he had moved yall. Then I found in the news, Devin was killed and I just lost all hope. My first born was gone. I felt god was punishing me for walking out you guys . I got on drugs and I was soo depressed but I spoke with a woman and she talked me into rehab and I came here to Compton. I told my mom my issues and she took me in. Now I have gotten it together and all I wanted to do was see yall.."
The answers I had been searching for the last few years were answered.

Its been some months since Compton and Its just been...normal, I guess. My mother came back to Atlanta with me and Diamond. We moved houses, still in Atlanta but fit our needs. Devin came back home with me. Kalvin still lives with us.I f your wondering what happened with him and Lauren, well she broke up with him.She got back. With Jacob and Diamond turned him down is going strong with Tyler. Dawn and my mother are like bestfriends. I'm honestly feeling at peace. Just only at home...my and Corahn have been having so many issues. I feel we are always arguing and I'm just so sick of it. I'm slowly falling out of love with him. I sigh. Maybe I just don't want this anymore, but the bad part is. I'm slowly developing these big feelings for Justin. I don't even know...I'm just soo confused. _*Damn_ Cupid*_
I hop out the bed.
I walk into my bathroom. I get a text from Justin.

I set my phone down on the sink. I looked in the mirror. My hair looked tragic. I turned on the shower and went into my closet. I picked out my out fit. I took a shower. I washed my hair and stepped out the shower. I wrapped my self in a towel. My phone buzzed once more.
