(This is a dream I had the other day that's very close to me. It brought up some parts of my life that I haven't thought about in quite some time. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.)

I'm in a bar/restaurant kinda place with my fiance. I didn't know the place but he did. We walked over to a little screen and found a menu. I looked into it and realized i could see more than just food and drinks in it. I could also see other people. I looked around and saw that the people I saw on the screen were also somewhere in the bar/restaurant.

My fiance ordered something for both of us while I focused on finding people on the screen and in the place we were. Suddenly I saw an old friend that I hadn't talked to in about 3 years or so. And not just any old friend. It was my old best friend that I sadly don't talk with anymore. I saw her on the screen along with some other people from our old school.

I looked around but couldn't find her. "Liv." I silently said into the screen. My fiance just looked at me, He seemed like he had heard that I said something, but didn't hear what. The screen had turned off because we were done ordering, and in the reflection of the dark screen I saw her again. My eyes widened more when I realized she was actually here. "Liv?" I called, still being somewhat silent.

I saw the reflection turn around and look for whoever called her name, but she didn't know it was me. I turned around and looked at her with a happy but confused expression. She finally saw me and made the same happy/surprised look that I had. We walked over to each other and when we were just a few feet apart we stood there awkwardly looking at each other.

"Hey..." I finally said waking both of us up again. "Uhh... Hey." She said trying to come back to her happy optimist self, but clearly still feeling surprised. "Long time, no see." I said nervously scratching my hair. "Yeah. So, how's life?" She asked and as we spoke we slowly became more at ease and calm again. She told me she had heard me call but wasn't sure if it was actually me, and I told her that I had the same feeling of uncertainty when I saw her.

We began laughing at all the memories we had together and talked about what we had done in those 3 years. It didn't take long for my fiance and her friends to come and join us in our conversation. At first they were all confused. My fiance didn't know any of these people, and her friends couldn't remember me as well as she could. We agreed that this was probaby one of the happiest encounters we have made in a long time. Soon after that I woke up.
