I was flying high but was getting tired of flying and wanted to take a normal walk. I got down on the ground and transformed into my human body. I have the ability to turn into a bird whenever I'm outside but can't do it when I'm inside. If I accidentally fly inside a house I'll remain a bird until I get outside and can transform back.

I was walking around and saw a house. It seemed abandoned so I decided to go inside to rest. When I got inside and closed the door I heard voices upstairs. I go upstairs to investigate. When I get upstairs I see people. I overheard some of their conversations. They're talking about doing something illegal. A heist of some sort.

One of them notice me. "Intruder!" He yells. The others all look at me. Their leader takes out an assault rifle and start shooting after me, not even bothering to ask me whether I know anything or not. I run and hide in various hallways and behind whatever furniture I can find. After a few failed attempts at asking them to stop and a lot of running, they finally corner me. I turn right and end in a blind hallway. I drop down in the corner and try to catch my breath.

The leader finds me and slowly walks closer. "We don't like people snooping around." He says to me while aiming at me with his assault rifle. "Wait. I didn't see or hear anything, I swear! Please, I can help you.." I beg. "It doesn't matter anymore. You've seen who we are, you should have enough common sense to know that we're bad guys by now. So it's time for you to die." He says coldly.

"Wait... I... I.. I can help you!" He stops for a moment. "What do you mean? We don't need your help." "I know you don't think so, but I know I can be of help to you." "How? You have 2 minutes to help yourself out of this situation." He lowers his weapon but is still blocking my way out. "I have good eyes, I can keep watch and provide a better overview." "We don't need another lookout."

"How good of a shot are you?" I asked nervously. "The best. Why?" He answered proudly. "If you'll let me, I can show you how I can help. I can look out from a new angle. If you think I'll try to run you can shoot me." I gulped at the end, nervous of the outcome of what was going to happen. "Fine. Show me." I slowly got on my feet and began walking towards the exit.

When I got to the door I was about to open it, but the leader took a hold of my shoulder. "One, chance. Nothing more." I nodded and went outside. As soon as we got outside I turned around. "Please, trust me and try to keep up." I turned back around and began running. As I was running I kept praying in my mind that he wouldn't shoot me. Then, when I had built up enough speed I held out my arms and took a big jump up in the air.

I turned into a bird and flew back around. I landed on a rock close to the leader. He aimed at me with an angry face. "You ran." He says with a strick voice. "Sorry. I needed the speed." I covered down in fear. "You're a bird?" He raised an eyebrow. "yes. I told you I'd be able to give a new angle. Am I still not able to help?" "Fine. You're in. Just know that you can never get out again." He lowers his weapon and walks back inside. I turn back to a human and follow him.
