Bilal...
The next day, Bilal was sitting on his prayer mat, doing tasbih after he finished praying salatul walha, when someone barged into his room without knocking.

What he hate!

He looked up angrily and saw it was Zarah. Immediately his mood changed.

"Ya Bilal good morning".

She said sitting down on his bed.

He ignored her and continued his recitation of Ya Ghaffar, name of Allah for forgiveness.

He finished, prayed some dua and got up, neatly folded the prayer mat and kept it in his closet.

He sat on the couch and looked up at her, she was busy snapping pictures on his iPod.

"Zarah, why are you behaving like an animal. Why did you entered my room without me giving you permission?"

"Haba ya Bilal am your wife to be fah. Must I ask permission before entering my husband's room?".

She said pouting her hawk-like mouth which was painted so deep that it looked scary.

He angrily got up, caught hold of her long braided artificial hair and dragged her out of his room.

She yelped and screamed as he dragged her by her hair and threw her beside mummy, who was sitting in the parlour, watching a recipe show.

"Kai bakada hankali ne Bilal (are you out of your mind)?".

Mum asked, grabbing away his hand from the grip.

He just turned away and walked back to his room, without replying.

"Mummy wallahi I just went to greet him and he did this to me".

Zarah said, crying.

"Why did you go to his room in the first place, Zarah?"

"Mummy..."

"Just shut up. You caused it for yourself"

Mummy said, and turned back to watching her show, while Zarah continued crying.

Yusrah.....

From the time Yusrah heard her parents talking about her love for money, she had become sober.

In the night, she was in their room, chatting with Bilal via WhatsApp when Usman sent Laeebah to call her.

"Go back and tell him am not coming".

She said, not looking up from her phone as her brows were about hitting each other.

"You must go out! You useless child. Someone wants to help and marry you and you are here rejecting him.

After all, you are the one to beg him to marry you, who knows whether you are still intact? With the way you love money you can give away your dignity for it.

So better do yourself some good and go out before mallam hear of it!".

Ummi said, standing on the doorway, a hand on her hip while the other was helping her mouth talk.

Yusrah broke down in tears by her mother's comment.

If her Ummi could think she can sell her virginity for money, then what are other people thinking of her? What if someone tell Bilal this?

She grabbed her Hijab and went out, sniffing and wiping the tears with the back of her hands.

Usman was sitting on a log outside the house, and when he saw her, he started smiling like a lunatic.
