I held the bag of lollipops as I walked in line, waiting for my turn. I tapped my foot, my eyes going over to the small fridge that held all sorts of soda and I went to reach for the cherry cola.
My hand met another's and I pulled back, my eyes going to the male as I apologized.
"Wow, not many people I know like cherry cola," he grinned brightly at me and I found myself returning the grin back at him.
"I enjoy it since I have to stay sober for my work," I laughed, handing him a can as I got one for myself. "And since not many people prefer it, I usually have all of the bottles to myself. I'm heading back to work anyways," I shifted to make space for him to stand in line with me.
