I woke up and looked to my side,jay was gone. I picked up my phone and looked at the time. It was8:05 am. "Shit" I shouted. "I'm late for school". I ran into his bathroom to fix up my hair, which was really hard considering I didn't have a brush, hair gel etc. i sighed. I didn't bring clothes because I wasn't expecting to sleep at his place. I didn't wanna be anymore late than I already was so I just put my shoes on and dealt with it. The house was empty I had to walk to school which was exhausting. I got to school pretty late.
As soon as I walked into the school the bell rang. I scattered the halls looking for jay. I was walking when Samantha stopped me she was with Savannah and gray.
Samantha: how'd you get here? We left you. *she smirked*
Cali: I walked.
Gray: "we"?
*gray looked confused*
Samantha: oh give it up gray! *she shouted* she doesn't like you.
Everyone in the halls turned their heads and looked at us.
Savannah: you don't have to be a bitch.
*the bell rings*
•Gym class•
In gym me and Savannah just sat on the floor talking , we were doing the fitness test but we faked injuries so we wouldn't have to do it and it kinda worked out.
Jay was doing push ups along with all the other guys. He took off his shirt, I looked over at Savannah who was practically drooling over him.
Cali: do you still like him?
Savannah: who? Jay? I never liked him, I just thought he was cute. That's all.
Cali: right.
Savannah: why do you like him anyway? I mean, he hasn't changed since the first day you met him. I mean sure he's a little nicer than he portrays himself to be bu-
Cali: why do you care?
Savannah: because he doesn't even care about you.
*her voice became louder*
Cali: what Are you talking about?
Savannah: if you really think he cares for you than you're dumb that's all I'm saying. He's been with every girl.

•Cafeteria/ end of the day•
Jacob: what are you wearing to Zara's party?
Samantha: oh gosh, my outfit is gonna be so good.
*jay sat there silently drinking his coffee*
Cali: whos Zara?
Jacob: jays e-
*jay kicked Jacob from under the table*
Samantha: oh he didn't tell you?
Cali: tell me what?
X: Zara is jays ex girlfriend...he's going to the party with us,I thought he told you.
Jay: I mean I was....but I- I-
Savannah: stutter much.
Jay: I WAS gonna tell her but I forgot.
I could tell he was lying.
Samantha: I don't know why you're lying it's not like y'all are dating.....you aren't, RIGHT!?!?
Jay: it's complic-
Cali- no. No we aren't dating.
I left the cafeteria and started walking around the school. The fact that "Zara" is jays ex didn't make me mad it's just the fact that I could tell he has something to hide. I mean, why is he lying?
