I promise I'll put more effort into the next chapter coz this ain't it 💀
" who cares just go up to him" Savannah shouted in my ear over the sound of blasting music. "No way you do it yourself". I rolled my eyes as I shouted back. We were at a party....I know what you're probably thinking, what's new right? Savannah was too shy to go up to this guy so she wanted me to do it. I didn't even want to go to the party, like at all. But Samantha was in Ohio for a couple months. When she came back she wanted all of us to hang out together. Samantha never really liked me, and to be honest I never really liked her. But we've been growing on each other. She's not that much of a bitch to me anymore. It was kind of nice talking to her at times. I guess it's safe to say I actually consider her a friend now. I thought if I didn't go to the party with everyone she would think I was being shady, and I didn't want that.
Savannah: you're joking right? You can't do it for me....
*she looked upset, or angry. I couldn't really tell. She's a hard one to read*
I looked over my shoulder. At the guy she was too scared to talk to. He looked at me for literally a second.
Savannah: OMG HE JUST LOOKED AT ME! WHAT DO I DO!? DO I GO UP TO HIM!
I looked at her confused.
Savannah: does my hair look good?
*she scrunched her hair up repeatedly*
Savannah: lipstick on my teeth?
*she flashed a smile*
I looked back at the guy. A girl walked over to him and grabbed his shoulder. He was smiling. I assumed that was his girlfriend. They upstairs with each other. Savannah looked at me. In shock, like she couldn't believe what she had just seen.
Savannah: see, now he's gone. It's your fault.
Cali: my fault? How is it my fault?
Savannah: if you would've just gone over there he-
While Savannah was shouting at me. Jay caught me off guard. He grabbed my face and kissed me. Wasn't anything dramatic, just a kiss.
Savannah: whatever.
Savannah rolled her eyes and stormed off.
Jay: what's her problem? *he chuckled*
Cali: I don't know.
Jay: you wanna go upstairs? I saw an empty room.
He places his hand on my back and slowly went lower. I grabbed his hand and moved it away. "no".
Jay: you don't have to be a bitch.
Cali: how is that being a bitch?
Jay: no. *he mocked me*
Cali: whatever, I'm tired. I'm going home.
"Wait" Jay tried to grab my arm while I was walking away.
I pushed through the crowd of people. I took my phone out of my pocket ready to call an Uber. I opened the door. As soon as I did that a cold breeze hit me. "Shit" I said to myself. I wasn't wearing anything that would've kept me warm. Just a thin off the shoulder top and ripped jeans. I walked outside and saw gray leaning on the hood of his car. Looking down at his fingers. He looked a bit down. I walked over to him with my arms crossed, the wind kept blowing my hair in my face. It was freezing. "What are you doing" I asked. I looked up at me and sat up straight. He waited a few seconds before saying anything.
