Today Samantha invited me over to her house after school. I didn't really wanna go because 1, jay was gonna be there 2, Savannah was also gonna be there. And THREE, SHES JUST A BACK STABBING WHORE! She knew I liked him... she even asked me if I liked him. Why! Why is he dating her if he knows I like him. He said he liked me back for fucks sake! I don't understand.

When I walked into school it was completely fine...I mean I came late so breakfast was over, but it's ok I ate at home. It's actually good that I came late because then I could avoid jay and Samantha. I walked into English class And handed my late pass to the teacher. I stood around and scanned the room for like 5 seconds looking for the perfect seat, away from jay and Samantha....who were sitting in the back together with her head resting on his shoulder. I saw her lift her head up and smile at me "Cali! Sit here"! I acted like I didn't hear her and took a seat in the front.
*lunch*
When lunch came around I knew there was no way to escape, they sit here everyday. First gray sat down, then Jacob, x, and the two "love birds"
Gray: are you coming tonight.
Samantha: of course she is. We're gonna have so much fun. Right jay...
*she turned to the side and practically started making out with him*
"Right jay" I mocked under my breath. Gray placed his hand on my leg and gave a slight smile, I smiled back.
Jay: yeah.
*samanthas house*
I don't even know why I came here in the first place. Savannah was supposed to come but I guess she's not. Everyone was doing their own thing when jay pulled me aside.
Jay: can I talk to you?
Cali: about what! There's nothing to talk about.
*i tried moving away but jay had a tight grip on my wrist*
Jay: please. Can we talk , please? If you think it's bullshit then you could leave but please hear me out.
*i scoffed. Jay walked me to a guest bedroom, or atleast that's what I think it was. He sat me down on the bed and closed the door*.
Jay: I'm so-
Cali: why? That's all I wanna know is why?
Jay: I don't know. But I'm sorry.
Cali: Whatever.
Jay: look. I don't even like Samantha...
Cali: that's what you said last time but look at you two now. You're the one who asked her out.
Jay: WHAT!? I didn't ask her out... sheeeeee asked me out. I only said yes because she was right there I would've felt bad if I said no.
Cali: then what about English class or in the halls or lunch, you practically swallowed each other in the cafeteria.
Jay: trust me, when she kissed me I felt horrible because you were right there. I really do like you.
Cali: whatever, your girlfriends waiting for you.
I opened the door for jay. As he was about to leave he kissed me on my cheek. I stood on the door for a few seconds trying to regain my conscience as butterflies flew around in my stomach. We all gathered in the living room, I sat next to gray.
Samantha: babe where were you, I was starting to get bored. *she giggled*
She jumped into his arms and started kissing him.
Gray: here we go Again...
* I looked over and laughed*
Gray: I feel sorry for you.
Cali: what? Why?
Gray: because you like him.
Cali: oh mmm mmm I'm over him.
Gray: really?
Cali: yep. *a nervous smile ran across my face*
Gray: stop lying.
Cali: ok you caught me, but you have no idea how it feels to truly like someone who doesn't even want you. I mean could you imagine me and him dating. Because I can't... well in my mind I can but I can imagine lots of things in my mind.
Gray: I know exactly how you feel.
Cali: you do? Who do you like....
Gray: I can't say.
Cali: cmon I told you.
Gray: nah.
Me and gray had been talking for such a long time that we didn't even notice everyone had moved to the kitchen.
Gray: let's go. *he grabbed my hand and walked me toward the kitchen*
Everyone was pouring drinks and drinking .
Samantha: cmon Cali take a shot.
Cali: ah, it's ok.
Jacob: don't be a pussy cmon.
Gray: cmon
Cali: ok ok! Just one tho.
