The Dare That Started it All (1D/5SOS fanfiction)

Chapter 1

“We have a show tonight boys! You need to do amazing; we haven’t been in the celebrity news lately, it seems like that band The Vamps has been getting more popular. ” Simon yells at the boys.

Liam’s POV

All he ever thinks about is popularity it gets so annoying.

“Ok, how long from now is it?” Liam yells back.

“Eh, about an hour” Simon shouts back.

“Ok” Liam says turning to the other boys.

“What do you want to do to pass the time?” Louis asks looking at all the other boys.

“Hmmm” Ashton mumbles.

“How about we play truth or dare?” says Zayn.

“Yeah! That will pass the time and it can be fun,” Michael screams like a teenage girl.

“Ok Zayn since this was your idea, truth or dare,” Louis says looking at him.

“Truth,” Zayn says proudly.

“Loser,” Ashton says coughing to try to hide it.

“Ok, if we were the last two people on Earth what would you do?” Louis asks with a smirk.

“Ummm, probably just act like I normally do,” Zayn responds.

“Ok, Harry truth or dare?” Niall asks raising his eyebrows.

“Dare,” Harry says looking at Zayn.

“Ok, be right back,” Niall says with a grin on his face.

Niall skips back with an egg in his hand.

“Niall this is not the time to eat!” Liam says.

“Oh, it’s not for me. It’s for Harry. Harry I dare you to eat this egg raw,” Niall says handing the egg to Harry.

“How did I know that your dare would involve food?” Harry asks.

everyone watches Harry swallow it, causing his adam's apple to bob.

“Was it good?” Niall asks with a smirk.

“No, it was…” Harry is about to finish but runs into the other room to vomit.

“Ok, Ashton truth or dare?” Liam asks.

“Umm, considering what just happened to Harry I’m going to go with truth,” Ashton says.

“What was the lowest grade you received in school and for which subject?” Liam asks.

“Ummm, it was a 33% in math, but when I brought it home I changed it to an 88% so my parents would never know,” Ashton says shyly.

Harry stumbles back into the room wiping his mouth.

“Ooo! I’m telling your mom!” Michael says like a child running to his phone.

“Don’t you dare!” Ashton says grabbing the phone right before Michael can reach it.

“I’m kidding ha ha,” Michael says.

“On that note, Niall truth or dare?” Zayn asks.

“Erm, truth. I don’t need to eat anything and puke” Niall says looking at Harry.

“Ok, if you had 24 hours to live what would you do?” Zayn asks.

“I would eat as much as I could, I would tell Simon that he needs to stop acting like he has a stick up his ass and I would walk down the street saying I’m Niall Horan, come and hug me before I’m gone!” Niall says getting up raising his arms.

Everyone laughs holding their sides trying to mask the pain.

“Ok then Niall, you are something else. Louis truth or dare?” Calum says.

“Hmmm, I’ll go with dare.” Louis gloats.

“I dare you to call the hotel we were just in and ask if they serve dinosaurs. And mention other foods you'd like with the dinosaur.” Calum says.

“Ok.... yes I would like to know if you serve dinosaurs?” Louis says holding back his laugher.

“What do you mean you don’t have them? Ugh you guys can’t even get dinosaurs? What kind of hotel are you?” Louis says almost laughing.

“Well then” Louis says, hanging up his phone laughing, the others join him.

~~5 minutes later~~

“Ok, Liam truth or dare?” Harry asks.

“I guess truth,” Liam says.

“What do you not like about the person sitting on your right?” Harry asks.

Liam looks to his right and sees Niall sitting their with an adorable smile on his face.

“I don’t like that Niall farts so much, I mean he never stops!” Liam says laughing.

Niall looks Liam straight in the eye and then lifts his leg and lets out a huge fart.

“How do you like that?” Niall says laughing.

Everyone else laughs even more than before.

“Calum truth or dare?” Ashton asks.

“I’ll be daring and chose dare,” Calum says hesitating.

“Ok tonight I dare you to kidnap one of the girls that go back stage,” Ashton says wiggling his eyebrows.

“You mean like take her..?” Calum says uneasy.

“Yeah, actually I dare everyone in this room, including myself, to kidnap one girl at each concert,” Ashton says smiling.

“Are you crazy?” Liam says with his eyes so wide they might pop out of their sockets.

“Well Simon told us to do something that would get our bands some attention.” Ashton explains.

“Besides, we could make nine lucky girls super happy,” Ashton says with a smile.
