Summer's POV

I step onto the small porch. An apartment complex. I ring the doorbell to the Maxwell residence. A man opens the door and smiles at me.

"Breeland?" He asks looking me up and down.

"Actually, my name is Summer," I smile. He nods and opens the door wider.

"The house is a mess, I have three daughters I have to raise on my own," He sighs. I nod and open the door to my left. He wasn't lying when he said his house was a mess.  The sound of crying fills my ears.

"Girls, can you come in here?" He yells through the house. A teenager with a baby in her arms walks in with a toddler following behind her.

"You must be Breeland," The teenager smiles.

"Actually my names Summer," I smile. She nods and smiles.

"I'm Cameron," She says as she sticks out her hand. I shake it and smile at her.

"I'm Parker," The toddler smiles. I smile back at her.

"This is baby Zoe." Cameron moves closer so I can see the baby.

"Is there a dance studio around here?" I ask looking at the man I never caught the name of.

"I'm Zyler. And not one that we can afford. Are you a dancer?" He asks. I nod and sigh.

"Well. Cam will show you around," He smiles. Cameron hands the baby to him before turning to be and showing me around. The house was small and there were only 2 bedrooms.

"That is Parker and Zoe's room," She says pointing to a room covered in toys. I nod as I look at the small room.

"And this is our room. I hope you don't mind sharing," She sighs.

"I don't mind at all," I smile as I walk in and set my stuff on the bed that looked like it was recently moved in. I look at the other bed, books were spread everywhere.

"School?" I ask.

"Yep," She smiles. I nod and sit on the bed.

"Where does Zyler sleep?" I ask.

"Couch," She sighs as she sits down on the bed.

That night we talk, for hours.

"Did you leave anything behind when you moved?" Cameron asks as she closes the book she was reading.

"I left Anayeli and Brooklyn, the two girls that lived there. I also left Quin, my mom at the house. And my boyfriend, Mark," I sigh thinking about him.

"Why did you move?" She asks, her eyebrows knitting together.

"It's a long story," I sigh.

"I've got time," She smiles as she climbs off her bed and sits next to me on mine. I sigh as I start the story.

I'm sorry this sucks so badly. I'm losing motivation in this book.
