I opened my eyes, my eyelids felt like boulders and my vision was blurry. Everything was fuzzy, but slowly came into focus. I frowned, everything hurt, too. I was tied up, I guess last night wasn't some bad dream. I saw everyone around. My friends were all still tied up. I remembered every little detail of what happened so vividly and I felt like I was gonna puke. I struggled to sit up, a headache hit me and I fell again. I groaned slightly and tried again. It was difficult without my arms, but I did it. I pulled at the ropes, they didn't give. As I looked around, I realized how bad everything was. Kilee stared at Isaac's dead body, still in shock. Lucifer, Bobby and Alex just stared into space. Patricia scowled as she struggled to grab a small shard of glass to cut the ropes on her wrists. Then I saw the worst of it all. Sam looked at a puddle of blood. The...

The blood belonged to Dean Winchester.

Dean was face first in the dirt, a hole in the back of his head. I gasped and fell onto my back, hurting my wings. I immediately started crying as I struggled to move closer to them. I heard a soft sob and looked towards the noise. Kristyn stood over the corpse of Gabriel. He laid in a pool of his blood. His wings had been cut off and he was stabbed through the chest. Kristyn wavered slightly, her wrists were tied together and so were her wings, and she watched Gabriel. A cold breeze chilled us to the bone and leaves blew by dramatically. Kristyn squeezed her eyes shut ad collapsed to her knees.

"Damn it... Damn it all to hell..." She whispered. She slammed her fists onto the ground and yelled angrily. "It isn't fair!" She screamed to the sky, looking up at the clouds that slowly moved across the wide expanse of blue. I didn't understand how the sky could be so clear and perfect after everything that's happened.

Patricia suddenly jumped up, raising her fists above her head. She breathed heavily and smiled. The ropes dropped to the ground and she rubbed her wrists. She saw us, though, and her smile faded. She rushed to my side and, using the shard of glass that she finally managed to get, sawed through the ropes. I stretched out my wings and arms, it felt nice. She then moved onto Sam, and one by one, she had released everyone, except for Kristyn.

"Hey, Kristyn." Patricia said softly, stepping up to her.

"He's dead." My sister whispered.

"I... Kristyn, come here, I need to cut off your ropes."

"Patricia, he's dead."

"I know, please, come here." Patricia stepped closer. Kristyn scowled and suddenly ripped the ropes off, her wings and arms flew out to her sides.

"I don't need your help, demon." Kristyn spat, turning to Patricia.

The demon frowned. "Fine then. I'll hold that against you when you're dying in battle."

She turned and walked away, storming inside the building. Kristyn sighed and looked down at her wrist. Pieces of glass stuck out, and some was completely stuck under the skin. Blood was caked on and the bone was definitely broken. Kristyn stared at it, then went inside and disappeared. Alex and Lucifer went inside, having nothing to say. Kilee, Bobby, and Sam all silently went inside, then came back out with shovels. They started digging three graves for Dean and Isaac and Gabriel. I could do nothing but stand there and watch. The ground was red with blood and horrid memories. The night went any way but right. I watched for about an hour, then they finished digging the graves. Everyone was put in one, and buried. I couldn't move. Everyone went inside and the day wore on. I couldn't more or eat or do anything. I had run out of tears.

"Cas, you need to come inside. The clouds... It's going to rain soon." Patricia said, walking out and putting a hand on my shoulder. I nodded and followed her inside. We went down to the bunker and sat down in the living room. It felt so empty. Kilee was curled up, her knees tucked up to her chest and her arms wrapped around herself. Isaac wasn't there to hug her. Sam and Patricia sat together, both looked lost with Dean. I was lost without him. Lucifer and Bobby sat by the fire but didn't bother to try and keep it going. It gently flickered and died out. Alex sat next to the demon trap that had held Sara. It was broken. The couch where Kristyn and Gabriel would sit, it was empty. I heard a scream and something crash from down the hall. I went to check it out.

Kristyn was in her and Gabriel's room. A lamp was shattered on the floor, enveloping the room in darkness. Kristyn's eyes glowed. The glow was different, though. The blue was gone, it was a deep red, practically black. She stepped up to me, and I was horrified. Her wings had turned black again-- the beautiful white was gone-- and large, black horns protruded from her head. Her eyes were black with a small, glowing ring of red. Her wings hung at her sides and curled around her sides some. The joints where the wings bent were now marked by large spikes that poked out. I stared in shock, Kristyn sighed and looked at me.

"Castiel, I have something to admit. I... I'm not half human. I'm half demon." I could only nod as I looked at her. It was terrifying, beautiful, and terrifyingly beautiful.

"We need to show you to the others, maybe they can help you." I said.

"No... There is no fixing this. Normal broken angels can fix their wings and find love, but not me. Not anymore. I'm more than broken... I'm shattered. I'm permanently a monster." A tear rolled down Kristyn's cheek, it was blood red.

"You still need to see the others. We've lost a lot, but we can't cut each other out now. We need to stay together and fight."

"There is no fighting anymore, Cas. Crowley has Gabriel's wings, he has a sinner's blood and a monster's blood, enough seals have been broken and we never even tried to stop it. Crowley is going to rise and we're all gonna die. I'm sorry." Kristyn closed the door and locked me out. I sighed and went back to the living room. We all just sat in silence for the rest of the day, mourning our losses. But I wasn't mourning, I was planning. There was no way in hell that I was letting everybody die that easily. Not as long as I still have my wings.
