Ashes (MCU/Loki fan fic)

None Do

You and Loki stood on the balcony of the dining hall. The three of you being the only ones there.

"How upset do you think he is?" You asked. Loki opened his mouth to answer, but was cut off.

"GRAHH!" Thor screamed and you heard a large crash. You both looked, he had flipped the table.

"Never-mind." You said. Loki walked around the pillar to speak with Thor. You walked to the door greeting Sif and the warriors three.

"What's this?" Volstagg said of the flipped table. They looked to Thor and knew before you even answered.

Loki and Thor chatted. You five standing about as Volstagg ate from the small table left untouched.

"No no no no no no no-" Loki said and you looked. Thor stood. "It is the only way to ensure the safety of our borders." Thor said.

"Thor it's madness." Loki said. "Madness? What madness?" You asked.

"We're going to Jotunheim." Thor said. Fandral laughed. "What? This isn't like a journey to earth where you summon a little lightning and they worship you as a god. This is Jotunheim." He said.

"My father fought his way into Jotunheim, defeated their armies and took their casket, we would just be looking for answers." Thor said.

"It is forbidden." Sif said. Thor laughed. "My friends have you forgotten all we have done together? Fandral, Hogan, who lead you into the most glorious battles?"

"You did." Hogan smiled. "Volstagg, the delicacies so succulent you thought you had died and gone to Valhalla?" Volstagg Smiled too. "You did."

"And who put an end to the thought that a fair maiden could be one of the fiercest warriors this realm has ever know?" "I did." Said Sif.

"True but I supported you Sif."  Thor said and turned to you.

"And Shivanaala, Who capsized Muspelheim and became the most fierce goddess amongst to cosmos." You let out a sigh. They all looked to you.

"I did, actually." You said. "True again, but I also supported you!" "You didn't even know me!" You and Thor laughed.

"But you're my friend." He smiled and you rolled your eyes. They took you as sarcastic, but you were 100% honest.

"My friends. We're going to Jotunheim." Thor said.

You walked along side them to the stables, you towards the back, along side Loki as usual. You reached the stables and the five close ones ran off to their horses.

You and Loki walked to get a few of his favorites.

"You know that feeling when you're in a group of friends, but not actually in the group of friends?" You asked and he laughed slightly knowing what you meant.

"You don't have to come, you could run and tell Odin of our actions, perhaps we'd not reach Jotunheim."  He slightly Smiled mounting a black horse as did you.

You both trotted alongside towards the group as they mounted their steeds.

"Then again, some heat on a planet of ice will be nice." Loki homed and you smiled. He hardly joked either.

The seven of you rode off across the bridge, you and Loki momentarily racing but quickly stopped reaching the front of the group, nesting Heimdall.

You all slowed to a stop and got off your horses. "Leave this to me." Loki said walking up to Heimdall.

"Good Heimdall-" "you're not dressed warmly enough." Heimdall interrupted. "I'm sorry?" Loki said.

"You think you can deceive me?" He asked. "You must be mistaken-" "Enough." Thor cur Loki off again.

You mentally sighed. Rude.

Thor walked past Loki. "Heimdall May we pass?" "Never had an enemy slipped my watch until today, I'd like to know how." Heimdall said.

"Then tell no one we've gone till we have returned. Understand?" Thor said walking past him. You walked forward with the group. Loki didn't move, so naturally you stopped a step behind him.

"What's the matter? Silver tongue turn to led?" Volstagg teased. "Don't mind him," you said and Loki looked at you. "Come on." You said nicely walking with him into the bifrost as Heimdall followed.

"Know this. I will honor my sworn oath to protect this realm as its gate keeper. Should your return put Asgard at risk the bifrost will remain shut and you will be left to die in the cold waist of Jotunheim." Heimdall said.

"Can't you just leave the bridge open for us?" Volstagg said.

"Leaving the bridge open will release the full power of the bifrost destroying all of jotunheim and you upon it."

"I have no plans to die today." Thor said.

"None do." Heimdall replied and opened the bridge.
