You walked through the halls towards your quarters. You knew Loki had told the guard. You figured he'd done as such after how he spoke of you possibly going to Odin. You walked down a turn, and heard a loud yell.
"Tell me!" You stopped, and looked down the end of the quarter, where the weapons vault was.You slowly began to walk towards the doors. You walked slowly enough to have hoped someone would leave, but no one did.
"Gaurds! Gaurds please help!" You heard ring from the vault. Loki.
"Loki?" You sort of yelled running to the door. You opened it and Loki looked to you, Odin was laying on the steps. "What's going on?" You asked quickly running to his side.
The guards followed you and lifted Odin. "He just fell into Odinsleep?" You asked.
Loki looked down. He seemed rather edgy. "He's alright Loki, your father-"
Loki's told sharply and began to leave. You stood. "Loki." You snapped. Harshly maybe, but he was not exactly polite.
He stopped but didn't turn to you. "You may escort me to my room." He said. It sounded rather degrading, him allowing you to walk him, but you know what he meant and stepped to his side and began to walk with him.
You walked silently towards the steps. He wouldn't look from the floor or his hands.
"My prince-" "what have I said about you calling me that?" He said Quickly. You slightly blushed. "Sorry, I just seemed you were not in the mood for casual conversation."
"You've been visiting my home for a decade, we're beyond formality, officially." He said. "Not that we've spent much time together." You said.
"Shamefully. I am sorry for my avoidance over the years." "Don't be." You Smiled assuredly. He slightly did too.
You rounded the second flight of stairs. "Do you also plan on avoiding the conversation between you and Odin before he fell into the sleep?" You asked.
Loki looked up to you and his steps faltered. "What did you hear?" I shouldn't have said that. Loki snatched your arm firmly.
"No you shouldn't have, what did you hear?" He asked. You furrowed your eyebrows. I'd appreciate you staying out of my mind.
'I'd appreciate it if you told me what you heard, now.'
You snatched your arms from him. " 'Nala, what did you hear?" He asked almost with a worried tone. "Don't be a spaz, I heard you yell once and I turned towards the vault then I heard you yell for the guards." You said.
He looked down. You turned and started back down the steps. "Wait- shivanaala wait!" He called jotting down the steps quickly and stopping you in your path, standing on the step below you, still looking down at you.
"I shouldn't have grabbed you-" "no you shouldn't have." You said sternly. "I meant no harm to you." He said politely.
"Perhaps there was a reason we've not spoken all these years." You said. "Don't be like that." He slightly growled. "I know, you've had a rough day, Loki, that doesn't mean it is alright to take it out on your friends." You said, his face flickering with hope.
He rolled his eyes slightly. "Oh please what friends? You?" He asked rudely. You took a deep breath and raised your chin a big challengingly. You would not let his bad mood ruin what little friendship you had kindled.
His face slightly dropped and he looked down. "I-" "shut up." You interrupted, his eyes snapping to yours almost admirably for your courage.
"Forget it. Walk it off, get some rest. You've had a long day. " You said comfortingly to him, allowing him to know you did not blame him for his actions. "I'll let you know if anything happens with Odin." You said.
You stepped down around him and began to leave. " I didn't mean it." He said. You turned looking up the stairs to him.
"I know, it's alright." You Smiled. He slightly sighed. "Go to bed," You said and turned walking down more.
"You're quite an ass when you're tired." You joked and he genuinely chuckled a bit, and definitely smiled, as did you.
