ACT I: Chapter Seventeen

Erik's POV:

The hostages was secured and we managed to get out from the intensed battle thanks to the unknown unit but (Y/n)'s condition getting worsed. I took out the patch that was given by one of the guy and stared at it. The logo on the patch shows a shark... More percise, Mako. I was thinking about his words, telling me that I have to pick up the phone. I don't know for how long I stared at the patch but I was snapped out from my thoughts as the black hawk landed.

Pilot: "We have landed!"

The door gunner then slide the door opened and we hopped out from the black hawk. The medics were there to transport (Y/n) to the infirmary for immediate medical support as well as for Grinch, Meta and Clay. The hostages were taken by the Rangers who was waiting at there to transport back to Atlas. I was sitting besides Sierra and James. We were tired and torned up from the battle. As I turn my head to the left, I saw Team RWBY. Looks like they found Blake but the main reason was, how Blake will react when she heard that (Y/n) was in critical condition. They saw us and immediately ran to us.

Ruby: "Hey, guys! Geezz you look very teribble.."

James: "It's worst..." He said with weak voice

Blake: "Where's (Y/n)? I thought he was in a mission with you guys.."

Erik: "W-Well... He.. he's.." I tried to say it but it's hard. Her expression turned to worry.

Blake: "He's what, Erik?"

Sierra: "He's in.. critical condition"

Blake: *eyes widen* "W-What? W-Where is h-he?"

Erik: "He's on the way to the infirmary now for immediate surgeon." As I said that, she began to sprint to look for (Y/n). "I'll accompany her. You guys should get some rest."

Ruby: "We will go with you." I nodded to her and turned my gaze towards Yang.

Yang: "I know that he hates me. But I'll accompany him. At least, that's what I can do."

Erik: "Then, let's go." With that, we make our way to the infirmary.

Blake's POV:

I can't believe on I've heard just now. My beloved ones in critical condition after his mission. I ran as fast as I can to the infirmary. My heart filled with sadness and worried about him. Tears fell as I ran to there. I entered the infirmary and asked a medic that was stationed at there.

Blake: *in tears* "W-Where is (Y/n)?"

Medic: "(Y/n)? You mean (N/n)? He's in the surgery room right now. The doctor are performing life saving process now. He will give his best to save him. I hope that you wait until the operation end."

Blake: "O-Okay... T-Thank you..."

Medic: "No problem. If you need anything, you can asked the medics around here." I nodded and sat on the waiting bench.

I put my face on my hands as I trie to calm myself dowm but I failed. What if I lose him? He's the only one who always shine my day, always be there whenever I need him. My mind began to recap all the memories that I have with him.

???: "You okay there, Blake?" I was snapped out with a voice. I turned towarda the source of the sound and saw Erik with the rest of my teammates.

Blake: "I-I.. No.. I'm not okay...." Erik then sat besides me.

Erik: "I know. What's his condition now?"

Blake: "T-The doctor are performing l-life saving process on him.. W-We have to wait until the operation end." Ruby then walked to my left side and put an arm around my neck.
