His chocolate brown eyes locked on yours as he gently pushed you against the wall, putting his hands on either side of your head. His breath was warm, but it sent shivers down your spine as it his your face. Your heart pounded, as it always did when was around you. As he pressed his body against yours, you could feel his heart beat against your chest. His face came closer to yours, until his hair brushed against your forehead. His lips were so close to yours, and you wanted them on yours SO badly, but you held back, wanting him to take the lead. His soft, warm hands slowly went to your hips, holding you even closer. Your arms went loosely around his neck, one of your hands tangling in his hair.
Finally, his lips pressed against yours. The kiss started out soft and gentle at first, but as time passed, the kiss became more heated. Leo kissed harder, causing you to moan softly. You felt his tongue sweep across your bottom lip, wanting access. You denied it and felt a growl rumble in his chest. Breaking the kiss slowly, you smirked. He kissed you again, rougher this time, and you moaned at the pressure. He took the chance and swiftly slipped his tongue in. His tongue was hot, heating your body up even more. His hands tightened their grip on your hips. They started to heat up, but you were used to it. You only had a few faint burns. Ambrosia rocks. So does Nectar.
As his tongue explored your mouth, one of his hands came up to cup your cheek. The kiss whet on, Leo staying dominant. Soo, breathing through your nose wasn't enough, and your lungs screamed fore more air. Reluctantly, you broke the kiss, taking deep breaths. Leo smile at you.
"Gods, I love you." He spoke in a hush tone. You smiled and kissed his cheek, feeling his warm skin against your lips. Laying your head on his shoulder, he gave you happy sigh and held you close to his body. Only moments after did you feel his thumb drag across a scar on your collar bone. You never told him now you got it, but he kept pestering and begging you to tell him.
"You finally gonna tell me where this came from?" He asked. You buried your head into the crook of his neck and sighed. Silence filled the room, but you finally gave in.
"My dad. He-" You sighed again, not wanting to go back to the memories. "He was never a....a sane man. When my mom showed up, he was happy. But after I was born and she left, he got worse. he always blamed me for her leaving..." You fought back your tears. You were not going to cry in front of Leo. You were not going to show weakness. "And the day I ran away, before I did... He tried to kill me. He finally snapped. He kept yelling about how I was a mistake and that he needed to correct the wrong he made. He grabbed one of the kitchen knives and cut me. I ran to my room and locked myself in." You touched your scar as if you were afraid it would open again.
"Then I grabbed some of my stuff and jumped out the window. I ran and never looked back." Now you were crying. Tears ran down your cheeks. You didn't cry at all. Life as a demigod taught you that there were things worse that what happened to you. Things that would make this look like you got a paper cut.
Leo growled and held you close, wiping the tears away. "Don't worry, (y/n). We're flying in the Argo II with powerful demigods, a satyr with a baseball bat, and a head piece that breaths fire. No way in Tartarus is he going to get ti you. I won't let that happen." He kissed your cheek, smiling. He was really sweet with you. And didn't everything to he could to make you laugh. That was Leo. Leo Valdez, the funny, loving, literally flaming hot boy, and your boyfriend.
"That's sweet, Leo. But we have a lot more worried that my past, a lot more dangers than my father. Besides," A small smirk replaced the sad frown. "I'm a lot stronger now. He should be afraid of me." You said, trying to sound confident. But, you being the ONLY person Leo actually understood, he knew you were still afraid of your father. He could see it in your eyes, Behind the confident, up beat look Leo loved so much, he could see the scared broken girl that hid somewhere and tried not to be afraid.
"You're lying..." he muttered. "You're still afraid." He kissed your forehead. "You don't need to be anymore. I won't let anyone or anything hurt you." You sighed and broke the hug.
"Leo... It's sweet that you wanna protect me. But I'm a demigod. My life is gonna be full of danger and painful things." You poked his chest. "You know that feeling just as well as I do. There are some things about me-about all of us- that are broken. " You said, crossing your arms and looking down at your feet. You felt his arm around your waist and kissed your head.
"Then let me fit them." he spoke. You chuckled softly.
"Leo, I'm not one of your machines with a broken gear. I can't be....'FIXED'."
"Yes, you can. I can out your back together with a special glue." He smirked, while you had a confused look on your face.
"And that would beeeeeee......?" He nibbled your ear as you giggled.
"A special glue called Love~!" He said dramatically. You laughed.
"That is SO corny, Valdez!" He smirked.
"You love me!"
"More than anything."
