I was helping Ava move a bunch of supplies from the Armory to the Hephaestus cabin. I was caring two big boxes while Ava was carrying a small box. We were passing the Arena when I looked over at some stray campers who were shooting arrows. One of the girls started walking towards Ava and me. I couldn't help staring at her, which resulted in me dropping all the boxes and rubbing the back of my head, as if I have meant to drop them. In short terms I was acting "cool".  Ava started laughing. The mystery girl smiled.

"Hey, Ava. I saw you guys carrying all those boxes and was wondering if you two need help?" The mystery girl asked.
"If you want to help Leo, I'm sure he'll show you where the boxes are." Ava smirked. What was she up too? I thought.
"Okay...let me just put away my bow. I'll be back in a second." She jogged back to the arena.
"Two questions. Why was that? Two, What was that about?"
"Well, Leo that is (y/n). She's a third year here at camp, she's amazing at archery, and she's single." I groaned.
"Why are you trying to set me up?"
"Because you guys would be cute together."

(y/n) jogged back to us and Ava nodded off and started to walk to the cabin. Leaving the boxes behind for Ava to deal with.
"To the Armory!" I said pointing to it. She laughed. "What?"
"Nothing, so your name is...?"
"Leo Valdez son of Hephaestus and you?"
"(f/n) (l/n) daughter of (godly parent)." I looked at her and nodded, granted she was adorable, but why was Ava thinking that we- "So, why are we moving these boxes?"
"They have metals and tools. Jake decided that we should start using more of the bunker because it's just easier if someone needs to-"
"Cool." She interrupted me. "I'm sorry I just...I'm sorry. Continue." I looked at her.
"Naw. It's okay I'm probably boring you. So you're into archery?" I jogged ahead slightly and opened the door for her.
"Yeah. I like better then using a sword." She walked up to the door. "Why thank you kind sir." She faked curtsied and walked in.
"Your welcome, milady." We both laughed.

She picked up a big box and I grabbed one as well.
"So...do you have a girlfriend?" She asked as we walked on. I was stunned by that question, but why would she need to know? Does she like me? Dammit Leo you're taking to long to answer. Answer her.
"No, I don't." I finally answer. "Do you have a boyfriend?"
"I have four overbearing older brothers who question any boy I've ever hung out with." She laughed, but it seemed sad.
"Are they demigods?"
"Yeah, but we have the same mother."
"Do these overbearing brothers have names?" She smiled.
"A.J., Will, Derek, and Link." She said.

I know it feels like forever

We made it to the cabin and sat the box down and she sighed.
"Let's go get the rest!" She said weirdly excited.
"That's all of them." I said with a stray laugh. She made a 'o' shape with her mouth.
"So, I'll catch you on the flip side?" She asked.
"Yeah." I smiled. Her eyes....I don't know what they did, but they looked frustrated.

She stomped her foot. "Are you going to ask me out or what?" I smiled. Strong, beautiful, and way out of my league. And she digs me, Leo Valdez, bad boy supreme.
"Will you go out with me?"
"Of course I will." She smiled.
