Chapter 6:
"Did you ever get that blender?" Ginny asked curiously as they walked together, side by side, through Stuart, in the dark. "Honestly, if you really need one you could take ours. I don't think it's been used in years."
Harry grinned. "I got one. Hey, just out of curiosity... did you ever do DNA testing, or something, to find your family? Or any kind of relations? Search your name on Google?"
"Well, of course," Ginny said. "The hospital did it. They contacted the United Kingdom, did all sorts of things to try and find out who I was. Couldn't turn up with anything. Nothing really matches with my estimated birth date or name. Apparently, none of my family - if I even have any - are registered in with their DNA, so my tests came up blank. It's like I came from nowhere."
He looked like he wanted to say something very badly, but didn't. Ginny decided to change the subject. "Can you do me a huge favor, and come over for dinner?"
Harry grinned, then laughed. "You barely know me."
"But I trust you."
"Why?"
She shrugged. "Ask me another time."
He looked over to her, smiling widely. "Sure. Sure, I'll come for dinner."
"And pretend to be my boyfriend?"
"What?"
"You heard me. Please? I kind of told Dylan's mother I had a boyfriend so she would quit bugging us with thinking we were together and she asked me what his name was and I panicked and said Harry."
"Oh, Merli- uh, God. Oh God. Alright, I'll do it. Only you have to do something for me."
Ginny grinned. "If you're asking for sexual favors, I'm gone, because I'm not that desperate. Remember, I barely know you."
Harry shook his head. "No sex, I promise. I want you to draw me something."
Ginny snorted. "Draw you something?"
"Yes! You said you liked to draw!"
"Well, I do, but..."
"C'mon. I'm being your pretend boyfriend. I need a reward."
"For the last time, I'm not having sex with you! Stop asking!" she joked further, and he laughed.
"No sex! Just drawing. Please? Will you? I just want a drawing."
"I can tell."
"Please, Ginny?"
She considered it. Ginny hated showing off any of her drawings to anyone.
"Pretty please?"
"Fine!"
"Yes!"
Ginny laughed at him. "So, tomorrow night?"
"Tomorrow night. Then you can come over and draw me something."
"Sounds like a plan. This is my stop."
He waved at Ginny, who was walking away, then she called, "No sex, though!"
"Fine by me!"
She grinned, waved, and got into the car.
