Hours brushed by and Izzy was still out on the lounge with Duff and I. He had told us that Alison had really screwed up their marriage and why she was so distant, due to her affair with Vince Neil from Mötley Crüe. I also found out that there was previous bad blood between Vince and Izzy, so that made the entire situation worse, as Alison was very aware of it too.
"I-I can't go back Shell, I can't look at her or be in that house and think of where the fuck he's been and if he's touched my fucking kids." Izzy refused to go home, which I couldn't blame him.
"You don't have to go home." I held onto Izzy's hand. "You can stay here, for as long as you like. But you are gonna need some spare changes of clothes, I don't exactly stock men's clothes." I forced out a laugh.
"Can I Shell?" Izzy pleaded. "I don't wanna see that bitch, not for some time."
"Izzy, you know you are welcome to stay here, for as long as you want." I nodded.
"And if you wanna stay at mine, Izz. You're welcome as well." Duff added, even though he was sure Izzy would only stay with me.
While Duff was here, would I say out loud that I only had one bed? No. Just because I could see that forming into some sort of jealousy, even if Izzy was just my best friend.
"Can you two do me a favour?" Asked Izzy with hopeful eyes.
"Anything." I nodded.
"Of course man, what is it?" Duff leaned in, wrapping his arm around me.
"I need some clothes, so if you guys wouldn't mind going back to mine and packing me a bag?" The puppy dog eyes Izzy gave me, there was no chance of me saying no.
"Sure thing." I nodded.
"Take my car." Izzy tugged out the keys to his car and handed them to me. "When you find my closet, there is a trunk in the cupboard above it. Just pile all the clothes and shit in there. Pack the lot of them if they fit, I don't fucking care. If I go home, it's only on the intention of seeing my kids, not my cunt of a wife." Izzy's voice grew stern at the mention of going home and he spat with his called Alison a 'cunt'.
"We might as well do it now, Shell." Duff murmurs. "Before it gets too late."
Nodding in agreement, I paid close attention to Izzy. "Are you going to be okay here on your own?" I worried.
"Yeah, I'll be alright." He nodded. "I appreciate this." He squeezed my hand.
"Alright, come on Duff." I let go of Izzy's hand, and get out from under the blanket.
Duff did the same and followed me over to the front door, that was where I made sure I had my purse and left the apartment keys, as Izzy was going to be here.
Duff and I were pretty much quiet from leaving the apartment to half way to Izzy and Alison's house, it was me who striked up the conversation.
"If Alison is there, do you mind if I wait in here?" I question.
"No, that's alright." He offered me a smile. "I might have been a mess, but I heard what was said between you two. I don't even want to look at her either, not after all the bad shit she said and now after what she has done to Izzy."
"Thanks." I turned a corner.
We were less than a minute away from arriving at the house, so not long. By the time that we got there, I parked in the empty driveway, which seemed a little off to me.
"She's not home." Announces Duff.
"How do you know?" I asked him stupidly.
"The other car is gone." He reasons.
