29. EXO react to you (crush) end up sitting on their lap during road trip

Xiumin: Minseok would be slightly embarrassed at the position the two of you are put in when Junmyeon says that it wouldn't be right for you to sit on the floor of the car, it'd probably be safer for you to sit on someone's lap. 

And that's how you end up on the edge of his legs, staring at your phone to take your mind off of sitting on him. He gives you lots of quick glances with a shy smile on his face that just keeps growing as time passes because he's so embarrassed by what has happened. But he wouldn't mind since he likes you! 

 Suho: Junmyeon would be really uncomfortable with the situation and would probably lean back as far as he can so that he doesn't intrude on your personal space. He'd probably mutter 'sorry' a lot and cover part of his face in embarrassment. 

Even though he likes you a lot, he might think that for you to sit on his lap - especially because you two are not in a relationship - that this would be crossing the line. He vows to later shake some sense into Yixing, who suggested the whole thing in the first place. 

Lay: Yixing would be like Minseok, embarrassed by the whole plan that Baekhyun had pieced together beforehand. "Ahh, I'm so sorry," he says sweetly, a little relieved when you assure him that it's alright, that there's no other way because there are so many bags on the floor of the car.

 He would adjust himself so that you are in a more comfortable position, even if it meant more pain for him. He wouldn't mind, he just wants you to enjoy yourself on this road trip. 

Baekhyun: Baekhyun would make a lot of jokes and in general just be a lot of fun so that he can liven up the mood and release the awkward tensions between the two of you aroused from Jongdae's trickery (that little - ).

 He might jostle you up and down sometimes just to tease you, laughing when you respond in mock-anger. After a while, he'd stop so that you don't have to feel any pain and he'd make some whining complaints about how long it will take to reach the next stop so that someone else can experience the pain he is feeling, then saying after you have exploded on him that he didn't feel any pain at all. 

  Chen: Jongdae would be sweet about it all, perhaps laughing at first at the silliness of the situation. "Ohmygod, are we really doing this?" he asks with an uncontrollable grin spread across his countenance as you seat yourself on the edge of his legs.

 He'd engage himself in a conversation with you to get rid of the awkward tension and soon you'd forget about how strange it was to be sitting on him in the first place. He'd secretly be pretty happy that you were there with him in general, that the two of you could be more intimate than usual. (Maybe he will confess to you secretly in your ear while you take a nap during the car-trip!

Chanyeol: He'd be a little shocked at first, but as he stares at you for a moment and locks eyes with you, he dissolves into quick laughter, becoming pleased at Kyungsoo's lack of care about exactly how all of you would be packed into the two cars and off to the road, just as long as you all were there. He starts some small-talk with a loud, "Ahh, jinja, this is so strange!" to set it off but he won't admit that it's actually nice to be closer to you. 

 D.O.: Kyungsoo would immediately start glowering at Jongin, who set this all up just for him (nope u kaisoo shippers get out !!!). He'd start protesting in embarrassment and shock, not wanting you to be put in such an uncomfortable position and for him to feel any more embarrassed. 

"I don't have to go, she can take my spot," he sputters, but you insist that it's okay and he relents, running his hand underneath locks of hair as if wiping away beads of sweat. He'd keep murmuring things under his breath during the first ten minutes of the trip: "God, I'm so sorry... I really will get them back for this, I swear. Ahh, I'm so sorry about this whole mess..." 

Kai: Jongin would be pleasantly surprised when Sehun says that you'd have to sit on someone's lap ("Just sit on Kai, he's the sturdy one around here," he would say and Jongin would close his ears to the world). He looks away grinning and trying to deny this strange happiness at the news that you probably have to sit on his lap during the car-trip.

 "Ah, okay," he'd say simply, shrugging his shoulders and putting on a show that he doesn't mind when really he's even more excited for the trip now. But he'd still be an awkward boy during the actual ride, not knowing how to start a conversation or what to do. 

 Sehun: Sehun's heart would be beating so fast but he would just take the obedient maknae role and dip his head in acknowledgment at the plans the eldest Hyung, Minseok, had set up. There'd be a murmured "sorry" when you seat yourself on his legs and he wouldn't say much else. 

Even if his exterior is a calm pristine painting of still waters and a subtle breeze (don't judge my comparison!), inside he'd be a chaotic whirlwind, screaming at the situation before him and wondering what to do.
