Title of chapter: Got7 react to you being in a coma for 3 months

Backstory: You had received a severe head injury and as a result, slipped into a coma. Three months have passed and you had not since progressed to a vegetative state and your family is struggling with the financial burden of prolonging your life.

 In your comatose state, you had not been able to breathe on your own and remained on a ventilator during this time which your family has ultimately decided to remove and let you go (at this point, the doctors have given a less than 10% chance of recovery).

Mark: The past few months have been the darkest point in his life. His weight has dropped from his nonexistent appetite and there are perpetual bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. Still, he was at the hospital every single day during that time, hoping, praying and doing whatever he could to cling to what little sanity remained.

 Over the course of that time, it had become more of a daily routine of life rather than just a habit of visiting. As long as your heart was still beating, he would remain by your side as you had been by his.

Learning that your family could no longer afford the medical costs to keep you on life support and had decided to pull you from the machines that kept you alive, he broke down all the more. Several days had been spent trying to change their mind, offering every penny he had to prolong your time, but in the end, he realized he couldn't argue with the wishes of your family and came to accept that he too had to let you go.

Right up until the final moment, he remained by your side. He held your hand in his as the doctors removed you from the machines, leaving only the steady beep of your heart on the monitor as the only sound amongst the quiet sobs of your loved ones. Time seemed to stand completely still as everyone waited for the beeps to falter as your life slipped away, but no one imagined what would happen next.

As everyone was crying and waiting for the end, your lungs, kick-started with the sudden absence of the machine that had been feeding oxygen to them, filled themselves with the very first breath you took on your own since falling into the coma. 

Your eyes fluttered open to the blinding light of the hospital room to find Mark seated loyally beside you with his hand clasped around your own as he hunched over, shielding himself from the end he was expecting to come to his world. Instead, he felt your hand gently twitch in his, bringing his surprising attention to your waiting smile. 

At that moment, when his eyes met yours for the first time in so long, he felt as though it was his own heart that halted. He wondered if he had died along with you because he simply could not continue in a world without you.

 It would take a short while for him to be able to process the fact that you were both alive... and once again together. And from that point on, he would do his damnedest to make sure you were never apart again.

Jaebum: From the moment he learned you were in a coma, he had shut down emotionally and reboot to run strictly on autopilot. He simply couldn't deal with the thought of not having you in his life, so he retreated within himself and kept pushing on the only way he knew how. 

To those that didn't know him, it may seem that he was unphased with your state - the way he threw himself into his work like never before would almost make it seem like he didn't care, but those that surround him will know better.
